Oh my gosh! I want to comment on all of them! What a treat to see these on one page, well done Ladies!
Fabulous cards, stampers! I was fortunate enough to receive Chery’s card and it is so beautiful in person. I had to case it as my card to give to coworkers on valentine’s day, with a few changes since I didn’t have the exact items she used. Love these swaps, Brian, keep ’em coming… THANKS!
Well, I see one of mine there and it’s the one by Franlyna!! I love the way you folded this card, I’ve been looking at it trying to figure out how you did it, it’s really fabulous because when you open the card, there is a place to put a gift card or a message. Thank you so much Franlyna, for my really awesome Valentine Card.
Oh yes Brian, please keep this swaps comming, we all love everything about the, from the creation of the cards to receiving ours and then, the icing on the cake is to see them here on your blog. Thank you so much for making this happen.
XO, dear host and a Happy Valentine’s Day to you!!
Maria – here’s a tutorial on making this fold: https://stampwithbrian.com/2012/10/13/i-pinned-it-lets-do-it-happy-birthday-wyatt/?preview=true&preview_id=2239&preview_nonce=556303c4e1 🙂
Oh Brian, thank you so much for giving me the link.
XO for you.
Maria.
Hi Maria! I’m so happy you are enjoying the card. Follow Brian’s tutorial and you will be making them in no time. I received the card you made with the Owls. It is just adorable!
Hi there, Franlyna: So happy you liked the Owl card. That puch is amazing and it’s versatile too. You can make the little ows look any which way you want to, by changing the color of their little dress. Thank you for your sweet words.
Lovely cards, there are so many cards that I will use for inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
Lovely cards everyone! The card I received hasn’t made it’s debut yet, maybe tomorrow. Want to compliment Lorraine on highlighting her country’s flag in her design. What better way to show your love to your country making the heart represent the flag. Must of took some time…well done.
Thanks so much for your kind words Lisa! I wanted to send a little British love over to Brian and all you inspiring ladies across the pond – glad you liked it! By the way, just between you and me, Brian’s getting quite a fanbase building up over here…!
Another gallery of Valentine beauties!
I love them all! Thanks so very much, Brian, for sharing them! You’ve all do me such an amazing job.
These are just beautiful! England is in the house!!! So much fun to see all of these.
What beautiful creations. Thanks for all the great photos of all the cards. Lots of inspiration. Way to go Creators!
#Maria Rodriguez. I love your cards. Especially when you do your watercolor technique. You are so talented.
Thank you so much Lynn for your kind words. I truly appreciate it.
omg – so chuffed to see my card up there along with my pal from the UK 🙂 I really like the fresh look of Amy’s card. And Maria – you have given me new inspiration for the up, up & away stamp set & owl punch that I own! 😀
Hey Vicky: Thank you for your words. Both the Owl Punch and the Up and Away stamp set are really fantastic. The tree in that card is from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set, really awesome images.
Thanks! 🙂
I am trying to figure out what the white stuff is on the card from Sharon Jones? It looks like paper towel? Is that part of the card or is it covering something up?
I was wondering the same thing. I’ll bet she had those pieces of paper towel covering the rhinestones during mailing and they moved and got wedged in the card. Too funny! It’s a great card, otherwise. They are all fabulous!!! Love seeing so many ideas in one post! Brian, you are a RIOT….I read your blog and laugh at your wit every single day!! Keep it comin’!!
LOL…Pam, those were for shipping purposes so the popped up sentiment wouldn’t get “squashed”! He left them on when he took the pic! Bwahahaha!
Sharon, I am laughing uncontrollably right now. I am SO SORRY! When I got your card in the mail, my first thought was “That’s gorgeous! But I don’t get the paper towels there. I guess she’s trying something new!” Oh, my gosh! It never occurred to me that I should have removed it for the picture. Tee Hee! It all makes sense now! Me stupid.
Really glad I don`t have to pick a winner out of this group …Brian…you could open a card shop with this collection . So many talented people and each card is unique ….WOW!!!!
Wowzers, Brian, these are great! But, LOL, you left the “paper towels” on mine when you took the pic…LOL! They were for shipping protection…bwahahahaha! You are so hilarious! I love you anyway!! I just can’t stop laughing!
OMG!!!!! that is hilarious indeed, Sharon. I was wondering if that was a new DSP or something like that. I wonder who got your card so we know what is under the paper towels. Better yet, tell us what is it, please.
Maria, it’s just the rest of the embossed card is all…those were put there to keep the sentiment from getting crushed during shipment…LOL! That Brian is hilarious, isn’t he? I thought it quite funny!
ROTFL! What a wonderful bunch of cards, today, Ladies and Gents.
The “protection mishap” has made me realize that when I slide a piece of cardboard over the card to protect embellishments , I’m going to label it “For Protection Only, Please Discard!” or something. A good laugh for a Tuesday morning! Thanks, B!
Beautiful cards everyone,such talent.thanks for hosting,Brian. Of course,I love Maria ‘s owls.
Thank you, Georgina. Using that Owl Punch is always a lot of fun. I’ve seen cards where they use those squigly eyes but I didn’t have any at hand when I made the card. The fun of this punch is that you can make those little owls look any which way you want!!
How cool! All the cards are just great and it’s so much fun to see what everyone is doing for Valentine’s day. I love the glitter heart especially and did purchase some of the SU glitter paper, put it in my stash and completely forgot I have it. I need to start cataloging my papers so I don’t forget stuff like that. The card with the heart made to look like the flag of England just blew me away. Brian, you have one heck of a lot of talented stampers that follow your blog. You are quite the inspiration!
Wow Grace, thank you! My friend Vicki and I love Brian’s blog and just had to join in to let Brian know he’s appreciated over here in England. I added the flag to make the point! Many thanks to Brian-he never fails to make me smile! And today’s paper towel episode has cracked me up!!
Well…I am so glad I didn`t say anything about the paper towel look …I thought Washi tape must be on it`s way out and Bounty was the newest thing …well, you never know ..I mean who would have dreamed you would be putting bottle caps on your cards to Aunt Bessie ???
ROFLMBO! Sonny, maybe I’ve started some kind of new “trend” , eh? Teehee! It’s Brian’s fault…sic em, Sonny!! LOL!
Bottle caps to Aunt Bessie and Bounty takes a bow! That gut laugh cleansed the plumbing, big time! hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
The cards really are fabulous and the laugh was icing on the cake!
WOW… these are all awesome looking cards!! Everyone is so talented, thanks to all of you for sharing, Thanks Brian for sharing them with us too.
Love all the cards, Brian!! This swap was so much fun…let’s do more!! Donna DeWitt & I ended up swapping cards & addresses! It’s pretty neat when you do a swap & make a friend. And, Sharon, I just love your “Olive you” card!! Gonna make one for my daughter.
Holy Moly! These are incredible! I don’t know where to begin in casing them. OK, I’ll go have another cup of coffee and just look at them again and again. Thanks for sharing these. Nancy B
These are all stunning! Thanks for the inspiration as I still need to make a Valentine’s Day card for my hubby.
There are some really lovely cards there and I am so pleased to see a couple from the good old UK! Well done to Lorraine and Vicki. All the cards are so inspirational. I will have to get on and complete one for my dear hubbie!!
Thanks Angela. 🙂 Mine’s looking a wee bit basic compared to some of the stunners on this blog now! I haven’t finished my O/H’s yet either…… oops! Best get on with that, but lately he keeps watching me craft fascinated by my ever growing ‘stash of kit’…… lol
Thanks Vicki – there is only so much stash you can hide away from their eyes!!! I now have too much to keep it hidden – lol
ooh no Brian !!! what were you thinking ??????? no that’s ok , we forgive you !! I was wondering why it had that there !! oh well , your ok !! funny !!!
That was just it, Frenchie..Brian’s brain was on “idle” and wasn’t thinking at all…teehee! I just love how funny this has turned out! Too cute, you are, Brian!
ops , all those cards are BEAUITIFUL , nice job !
All these cards are absolutely gorgeous–papertowels and all! 😀 –Terri O
Oh wow. I can’t pick a favorite! Donna DeWitt – I love the simplicity. The colors go so well together, your background is perfect and the piercing adds just the right touch of texture! Amy Gehman – Perfection! I wasn’t fond of the colors in the DSP, but I think you found a better blue to go with the reds and pinks of the holiday. LOVE IT!! Nancy Gonsalves – This is such a cute card! My mom and I both love this one. Vickie Hipwell – Fantastic techniques on this card! I may have to CASE this one sometime. 🙂 Maria Rodriguez – Wow. It looks like there was so much work put into this one – it’s beautiful All the elements go together so well! I don’t know if I like the hot air balloon or the trees better. The sponging looks great, too. Your card with the owls is simply adorable, too!
Thank you for your kind compliment…makes my day! 🙂
Brian, thanks for doing this swap – it has been so much fun!! And it’s so cool to be able to chat with the other card makers via your blog comments 🙂 I am so happy that you did this one and hope you’ll have another one in the future. To all of the card makers, wow – you are all very talented! I just keeping looking at the cards and looking at them – so much fun! I received Karen Carvel’s gorgeous card and it is right up my style alley!! Karen, I will be casing this for other occasions…I just love that panel that folds down the front with the circle window! And the ribbon slide…I have those and haven’t used them…now I will 🙂 Thank you!
Okay, yes, I am again behind in reading the oh too many blogs I follow (no, this does not include your blog, Brian!)….have to say again, this card swapping is fabulous (though also very intimidating to me!) and this is yet another grouping of fabulous cards…love that ladies from the UK also joined in….maybe one day I’ll suck it up and join in one of these wonderful swaps! Everyone has done a great job…now on to day three! Thanks, Brian! ( I agree with Amy about just looking and looking at them!)
I found your site on Pintrest and just want to congratulate all the artists, they are brilliant, but, the Owl won my heart.
I just love all these cards. I don’t do Valentine’s Day cards, but with the appropriate sentiments these would also make lovely anniversary cards.
