A little over a month ago, I shared a summary of all the gift wrap items available in the 2013-2014 Annual Catalog (there are so many items, and you deserve to know about all of them. I even shared a bag I made with the Tag a Bag kit. You can see the summary here.
Today I am sharing a simple project I made with the Tag a Box kit and Accessory kit — and keep reading for my “great find” for making a quick and easy gift. I’m also sharing a sneak peek at tomorrow’s project, so don’t miss it! Let’s start with the project:
“So, what’s the ‘great find’, Brian?” I can hear you already. Sure, these boxes are really great with their sturdy kraft base and the clear, acetate sleeve that just slides right over the base to perfectly embrace whatever’s inside. Yay! And sure, the Accessory Kit is wonderful with all its tags and twine and tiny clothes pins. But what are you going to put inside these little vessels for gift giving? Here’s an idea: three sleeves of sugar cookies fit perfectly inside the box. You know, the royal blue tin of Danish butter cookies that you can pick up at any local grocery or drug store for next to nothing? Yup! Three sleeves of those cookies fit perfectly inside the box. Woo hoo! I am a fortune teller, and I see easy gifts in your future.
For this package, I created a belly band of Gumball Green and taped it around the box with a little strip of Sticky Strip. I embossed this Congratulations image from Tag It with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then cropped it with Chalk Talk Framelits. I also cropped the shape beneath it with Chalk Talk Framelits and a piece of Brushed Gold Card Stock. After wrapping the box with twine from the Accessory Kit, I adhered the tag to the belly band with a Stampin’ Dimensional and added the clothes pin for effect.
Stamp Sets: Tag It Papers: Whisper White, Gumball Green, Brushed Gold Card Stock Accessories: Tag a Bag Gift Boxes, Tag a Bag Accessory Kit

Magnetic Platform. Don’t forget that the Big Shot Magnetic Platform is going to be sold again, starting tomorrow. Why don’t you stay up all night, sign into my demonstrator site (here) and refresh your screen over and over until it’s available. I’m so excited for you.
Sneak Peek. Because I’m feeling especially giving today, I’m sharing a sneak peek at my project for tomorrow, which also features the Chalk Talk Framelits. I’m “stepping out of my comfort zone” for this project and am happy with the result – can’t wait for you to see the whole thing. Reminder: because it’s a Pals Paper Arts day, my post won’t post until 5:30am (for all my early bird readers). 🙂

Ah! I love the professional look this cookie gift wrap came out! What could be more easy than the selection of tags and flags, add a belly band and Voila! Thank you SU for offering easy peasy gift packaging we can embellish! Oh you too Brian, Thank you! 🙂
Great easy tips and tricks Brian! This trophy looks great in gold and the recipient is the winner!! So are we now that we know exactly what to do, thanks to you!! 🙂
Very cute box! Safe treat giving is essential! LOL! Can’t wait to see your Pals card tomorrow! 🙂
What a cute gift! These gifts boxes haven’t made it to one of my orders yet, but maybe now… And I can’t wait to see tomorrow’s project! Love the colors and the vintage feel already!
I agree that everyone has a comfort zone. It’s difficult at times to step over the line. But, you always do very well in every zone you enter. I am confident you have created yet another winner for tomorrow’s post. Can’t wait to see it. Today’s package is great. Haven’t purchased any off these little gems yet. You make a good sell. Especially the great tip.
Oh come on , you go to all this cuteness making gift wrap and then don`t bake home made cookies . I like the Danish Cookies too ….but I think as talented as you are you could demonstrate some baking skills and come up with “Lovin from the oven” . I like the way the finished product looks …..even Slice and Bake would suffice in this nice packaging !!
So, let’s see Brian – you are mailing one of these to each of your followers when? LOL I think you should team up with Sonny – Let Sonny bake the cookies and you package them and mail them out! What a genius of a plan that is – right ladies and gents?
Great idea for gift giving to the grandkids’ teachers. Hey, I like Grace’s idea, my dear friend Sonny could bake the cookies and you mail them to us, what a treat!!!!!
The packaging is adorable. And I think you should make itty bitty pecan pies for the inside…..
Cindie’s right – I LOVE pecan pies but tarts would be O.K. to Brian.
Very pretty packaging … the cookies look pretty yummy, too! 😉
Looks so nice and so yummy. TFS (the ideas… apparently not the cookies. LOL)
Can’t wait to see your project tomorrow at PPA.
IT is so much fun to read your blog a little later in the day to enjoy all the conversations…I believe Brian’s packaging calls for some homemade cookie cutter cookies..perhaps King crowns? (FYI…I am a preschool teacher and we are so into the cookie cutters. LOL)
Wow Brian what a nice gift that would make !!! thanks for sharing !!!
your just so crafty !!!!
