Way to Go with Stampin’ Up!’s Bravo Photopolymer Stamp

It’s no secret that I like to play around with the patterns on Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers.  When I realized the stripe widths were identical on two of the striped patterns in the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, I knew I’d be creating a project with them.  Well, folks, today is the day.  🙂  Here’s a 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ congratulations card I made with these papers:

Bravo, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Lining it Up.  This card is an optical illusion.  There are no white strips of paper glued across these borders.  Instead, I’ve cropped the striped papers so that they align perfectly with the stripes from the other papers.  I know, I know.  From the angle of this photograph, it looks like some of the lines are perfectly lined up, but they look lined up in person.  The card has three squares of striped paper – two Blackberry Bliss and one Hello Honey – all from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.
  • Sets of Three.  There’s harmony in sets of three – we all know that.  To complement the three layers of cardstock that build up to the sentiment, I love that “way to go” has three words on three lines.  Nice job, Bravo stamp set!
  • Rich Blackberry Bliss.  I have always loved my blues and greens.  Do you remember how sad I was when Baja Breeze took (an early) retirement?  Soon after, I fell madly in love with Island Indigo, Pool Party and Coastal Cabana.  Against all logical reasoning, I find myself falling hard for Blackberry Bliss.  What a gorgeous shade!  The Hello Honey is just an accent for all the glorious Blackberry Bliss in this card.
