Two Great Atlanta Events

Are you in the Atlanta area (or willing to travel to Atlanta)?  There are two upcoming events I hope you’ll join me for.  One is a week from today, and the other is October 3-5  to celebrate World Card Making Day.

RETIRED STAMPS SALE

stamp sale

Do you want lots of stampin’ supplies but want to pay very little.  Deb Cozzone, Pam Morris and I are hosting a Stamp Sale at Deb’s home in Roswell, Georgia.  We’ll have food, a make-and-take, and lots of entertainment.  BUT…the real reason for the event is to get together with you (oh, and to allow us to load our retired stamp sets and supplies into your car at bargain basement prices).  I hope you will join us.

The event will be Tuesday night, August 12 from 7:00 – 9:00 in Roswell, Georgia (just north of Atlanta).  Please email me at [email protected] if you’d like to join us, and I’ll send over Deb’s address.  Between the three of us, we have hundreds of stamp sets that date back to the 1990’s, so there’s a little here for everyone.  My goal is to sell it all Tuesday night.  If anything is left, I’ll put it all on my blog’s “for sale” section as soon as I have time to update that.

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY 2014

Last year, we planned an awesome event here in Atlanta with demonstrators from all over the U.S.  We’re already planning this year’s events and are looking for demonstrators who want to have a great time while learning more about new techniques and Stampin’ Up!’s products.  AND there will be giveaways.  Lisa Pretto, from InkBig Academy, will also be here to offer a great training on Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by!

Brian

  2. Sounds great. Wish I lived closer!

  3. Sounds fun……wish I lived closer too!

  4. So sad I don’t live in Atlanta anymore.

  5. I have a little group of stampers that call ourselves “Paper Dolls” I am looking for any old stamps that are paper dolls and I thought that SU had paper doll stamp a long, long time ago? If any of you have such I would love to see a pix and price. Thanks, Brian. I enjoy your blog and cards. Dee from Nixa, MO

    • I don’t have anything like that, but I’ll be on the lookout. 🙂

    • Dee – Don’t know if this is the set to which you are referring but there was a set 10 years ago that had a paperdoll and clothes on one of the stamps. The set was Buttons, Bowes, & Twinkletoes. You can find the set (or just the individual paper doll stamp) on eBay or Etsy. (Your comment caught my eye because I am originally from Springfield MO. Now live in Alabama and Brian is my upline!) Good luck with your search!

  6. Brian, do you mean to say you aim to sell it all *Thursday* if the event is on *Tuesday*? I’m kind of glad I’m “safe” in the UK, I need to sell my retired stash which I will not use, not add to it! 😉 There are some “old” favourites which I will not be parting with any time soon, but generally I need to clear space for my exciting Autumn/Winter catalogue pre-order stash! So exciting, I can’t wait for it to arrive. This is definitely the best offering so far…

    • Thanks for the heads-up. You weren’t the first to mention it, but you were the first who made me go back and question what I had typed. It’s corrected now. This Holiday Catalog is FILLED with amazing stuff. I must make room, too. 🙂

  7. Ok Brian , I’m in , now what do I do next , I’m so excited !!!!! I’m soooo tickle pink
