Today’s my birthday I love all the affection and attention I receive from my friends and family throughout the year, so why ask them to shower me with ADDITIONAL affection on December 16? I do love presents and cake and candles and cheering, but I’m happy to accept those things any ole’ day. 🙂
To celebrate my birthday today, I’m sharing some of my favorite birthday cards from the past year . I’m also hosting a Blog Candy Giveaway so that I can give a little joy to you on my birthday.

Pacific point is my go to color, it coordinates with so many other colors and is so cheerful
Bermuda Bay! I love it for everyone. Pair it with a nice pink for girls, or Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie for guys, or with Night of Navy for something more sophisticated. And also happy birthday to you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with fun and laughter. My go to color is Pool Party. It is a fun gender friendly color and goes well with most other colors. Thanks for the chance to win blog candy. How nice you are to gift someone else on for your birthday!
Hello Brian and Happy Birthday to you! Wishing you all the best today and everyday! I knew it! We share the same birthday month. Mine was 2 weeks ago on the 5th! (it’s ok you can write it down and send me a card next year. 😛 ) My go to birthday card color would have to be Lost Lagoon. You can pair it up with many colors for both males and females.

Thinking about the last few birthday cards I made they were in some shade of blue whether for a guy or a gal .
Seems to work whether it’s night of Navy or Pacific Point, or Soft sky. Happy day to you !!
Happy Birthday Brian. Your day is a special one for me too as I gave birth to my oldest son on December 16. He is now 43, which is weird as I swear I am only 29 again (as an earlier card suggested). Hope your day is fantastic and wishing you many more wonderful birthdays.
Happy birthday Brian! Hope your day is stamptastic! Don’t really have a specific go to color for birthday cards, just depends on who it’s for.
HB, Brian I love your CAS style of stamping Birthday cards are my favorite to make. Seasons will determine the colors, but usually include one of the blues: coastal cabana, pool party, lost lagoon, island indigo.
Currently, my go to color is Watermelon Wonder.
Fabulous cards, as always, Brian! Love the brick wall.
My go to color is either Bermuda Bay or Crumb Cake.

Happy birthday to you and Ludwig van Beethoven (he would be 245 years old). I’m sure you will have a wonderful day. You are that kind of wonderful guy.
I don’t have a color go-to for birthday cards — color depends on the person for whom the card is being made.
Happy Birthday, Brian! I hope your day is a really great one. I love you and really appreciate your leadership. My Stampin’ Up experience just wouldn’t be the same without you! Go-to birthday card color, maybe Calypso Crush, or maybe Strawberry Slush.

Happy Birthday to YOU!! Enjoy your day and celebrate BIG. My go to color for birthday cards is Blackberry Bliss.
HB Brian! Have been busy with family issues again, but getting better at handling them. My favorite for birthday cards is Tangerine Tango! Somehow oranges have been my favorite colors my whole life! I actually painted my teenage bedroom with bright orange paint with a white ceiling and trim. Then, I still can’t believe I did this in my teens–I made my own bedspread and accessories with a chocolate brown fabric that had orange and white flowers in it! My mom always said she needed sunglasses to go in my room! Hee Hee Have a super holiday!
