DAY FOUR: 2016 One-for-One Swaps – The Royals

DAY FOUR - MY TEAMI have really enjoyed sharing the cards from my Spring One-for-Once Swap – and there are many more to come.  Today’s special, though, because I’m sharing cards from members of my InKing Royalty team who participated in the swap. I love my group – they are mostly hobbyists who joined to earn a discount on the products they love.  They stick around because they love our amazing online community and have made some amazing friends.  Yesterday, I shared Andrea Merlin’s amazing card, and today I get to share the other amazing projects from several other team members.

If you have missed any of the previous posts of these swaps, be sure to check them out here:

I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from cardmakers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years.  Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment on the card when it debuts here.  That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

The collection of cards might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques.  They are sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the next batch of your beautiful cards:

Bonnie Bake, Lincoln NE, Stampin' Up!, card swap

I love the simplicity of Bonnie’s layout – this can be used for so many quick-and-simple cards.  The layering of this flower perfectly pulls in the colors from the Designer Series Paper.

Jayne Linfante, Brielle NJ, Stampin' Up!, card swap

You already know how much I adore the layers Jayne has used on her card – this was a sturdy work of art.  I love that she “pinned” the corners down with candy dots and snipped the World Traveler Embossing Folder to fit the front of her card.  Gorgeous card!

Carole Gaines, Hephzibah GA, Stampin' Up!, card swap

Carole’s card showcases the rich, deep colors from the Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack so well.  I love how she’s folded back the panels on this paper to reveal the Delight Dijon piece underneath.  Beautiful layering.

Mary Fish, Tucson AZ, Stampin' Up!, card swap

This is such a signature “Mary Fish card” from my up-upline, Mary.  I adore this combination of colors and how she clear-embossed this flower from What I Love, a stamp set from Sale-a-Bration.  It gives her card a beautiful texture.  I also love the linen thread accent – I’ve never been able to pull that off.  🙂  Mary shares daily inspiration on her Stampin’ Pretty blog.

Lynn Kolcun, Pickerington OH, Stampin' Up!, card swap

The panels on Lynn’s card layer perfectly together, pulling in the colors from the balloon.  Not only did she sponge around the balloon with Crushed Curry (such a nice accent!), but she sponged these clouds into place with a scallop punch and Soft Sky.  You can see more of Lynn’s amazing work at Avery’s Owlery.

Pam Morris, Johns Creek GA, Stampin' Up!, card swapPam is my awesome upline – you’ve often heard me refer to my cards as “a Pam card.”  This is a perfect example of a Pam card – lots of white space, not a lot of layering and a beautifully stamped image.  Pam lightly sponged a rectangle of color into the center of this card before stamping the flowers from Wild About Flowers.  I love how the pops of pink are balanced on the card.  Pam’s Blog is Tap Tap Stamp.

Tamara Burton, Stockbridge GA, Stampin' Up!, card swapTamara’s card is a beautiful showcase of texture and color.  I adore the ribbon of embossed flowers down the center of her card that splits the beautiful patterns of Birthday Blooms Designer Series Paper on her card.  Who wouldn’t love to receive this sweet “hello”?

Sonny Peterson, Matthews NC, Stampin' Up!, card swap

I adore the layout of Sonny’s card and how she built a beautiful frame with these Deco Labels Framelits – they frame this flower perfectly.  I also like that she created a beautiful texture behind the flower with the thatched background from You’ve Got This – and I love that she refrained from coloring the flower.  Just gorgeous, Sonny!

Lisa Poe, Van Wert OH, Stampin' Up!, card swap

Lisa’s card features the Flowering Fields stamp set and Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper from this year’s Sale-a-Bration event.   She’s created a fun layout to showcase her flower and paper – and these colors are perfect for one another.  I adore the consistent layering on Lisa’s card (the borders around the base of the card match the borders around her flower.  So sweet!

Kelly DeTommaso, Harleysville PA, Stampin' Up!, card swap

Kelly’s card is vintage at its finest.  Not only are these dusty colors perfectly beautiful together, but she’s created a lovely texture in the background of her card with Timeless Texture.  I love the colors of this hummingbird from Picture Perfect and the stained “celebrate” that graces the front of her card.  Kelly shares her projects at Kelly’s Creative Corner.

How amazing are these projects?!?  Aren’t they a talented bunch?  Please leave a comment below to let these artists know how much you love their heartfelt creations.  Again – If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment on the card when it debuts here.  That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.
