Yesterday I shared with you my love for my amazing Stampin’ Up! team. Our team is made up of amazing friends from all over this county, and I’m thrilled that I get to share Stampin’ Up! at a different level than I’m able to share with you. Today, I’m sharing a card I made for my dear friend and upline Pam. When I joined Stampin’ Up! under Pam, I had no ideas about where my business would go. I’m so fortunate for her friendship and amazing support. Here’s my card for Pam:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Window Shopping. Window Shopping is a stamp set filled with great sentiments, including this big, bold “Thanks for being a great friend.” How many people can you think of who deserve to receive a sweet card like that? The set pairs with the Window Box Thinlits Dies and is offered as a bundle. I adore the beautifully bold sentiment – and I can’t wait to use the “happy birthday” sentiment in this set. What fun!
Here’s a super-sweet project created by Stampin’ Up! artists that shows this sentiment on a completed Window Box:
- Sweet and Simple. When Pam looks at cards, I often hear her say “That’s a Pam card.” Pam’s style is very, very, very clean. She like minimalism on her cards, and they are beautiful. I tried my darnedest to make this a “Pam card” but may have added too many layers. Still, it’s soft, sweet and pretty. This page from Falling in Love Designer Series Paper offers a perfect backdrop for the bold sentiment and shiny embellishment.
- A Little Wow Factor. Every simple project needs a little wow factor. To create the extended Pink Pirouette band across this card, I stamped the sentiment on the soft pink cardstock and snipped it out to lay right over the image stamped on Very Vanilla. I cropped a band of paper the same width as this one and placed it just beneath the sentiment. The second bit of bling came from the Falling in Love Embellishment I added to the left side of the soft, pink band. I don’t always reach for embellishments, but these things are GORGEOUS! Look at the shine:

How wonderful that you took the time to let Pam know how much you love and appreciate her. The card is beautiful, the sentiment is fabulous and the card creator is one amazing guy!
