Stampin’ at the Subway

I love every opportunity I have to get together with my team members, customers or other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.  Yesterday, I enjoyed an amazing day of stamping with my local team members (and a few who drove several hours to get here) at an event planned by Pam Morris, my Stampin’ Up! upline.  Pam’s parents own a Subway sandwich shop in Atlanta – and we took over for the morning.  What fun!

I’m excited to share some fun pictures from this day of inspiration, friendship and stamping.

Pam kicked off the meeting with a little pep-talk and tips for sharing Stampin’ Up! with others.  We love to invite new people into our group (and are meeting new people every day), so this was a wonderful way to start the get together.

Julie DiMatteo

Julie DiMatteo (The Paper Pixie) is an origami guru.  She can turn any piece of paper into a tiny box or bag or something 3-D.  I don’t make a lot of 3-D projects, so I always enjoy seeing what Julie makes.  Yesterday, Julie showcased a tiny Ferrero Rochet treat box that’s fastened together with a little straw on top.  Julie shared the fun and festive treat holder for a Ferror Rochet that was originated by Heidi Smith, a UK demonstrator who regularly posts treat box ideas and creative ways to dress up the little treats.

How adorable is that?  And so tiny.  We were all able to make this little treat box after Julie walked us through the steps.

Jennifer Spiller

Jennifer Spiller (Westside Paper Creations) drove in from Decatur, Alabama to be with us.  Jennifer is a true artist in ever since of the word, and she shared her artistry with us.  She showcased her amazing tips for watercoloring with our new Watercolor Pencils.  Here’s what she did – trace a shape of a Framelit with the Watercolor Pencils on Watercolor Paper, color in a side of the shape and then blend with an Aquapainter.  It was eye-opening to see how easy it was.  Here’s Jennifer in action:
