Paper Pixies Team Meeting (part 1)

Yesterday I shared pictures and color combinations with the swaps I created for the Paper Pixies Team Meeting (Julie DiMatteo’s Stampin’ Up! team).  If you missed that post, you can see it here.  Julie is a member of my InKing Royalty team (as are most of her team members), and she invited me to her team’s gathering.  How could I pass up such an event?!  What fun!

Playing with the New In Colors

Pam Morris (my upline) organized a make-and-take with the new 2017-2019 In Colors and the soon-to-be-released Wood Words stamp set.  The five In Colors are amazing – and we captured them all on one page with a .pdf created by Stampin’ Up!.  We all stamped images from the stamp set with the new inks, punched balloons from the new paper and scribbled with the new Stampin’ Write Markers to showcase these brilliant, new colors.  Here’s a look at the lineup:

2017-2019 In Colors Chart, Stampin' Up!I’m excited for you to order you very own In Colors starting in June!  As you get accustomed to the new In Colors, you can create your very own page and post it in your craft room for inspiration.  Here’s the .pdf provided by Stampin’ Up!:

Sandra’s Birthday Card Make-and-Take

Sandra Cornejo, a super-talented member of our group, hosted this meeting in her home and planned a fun make-and-take for us that combined some current products and some great, new products from the upcoming catalog.  Here’s a look at the finished project:

Daisy Delight, Daisy Punch, Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack, Big on Birthdays, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingHow cute is that?!  (the card, not the holder of the card)  Here are the products use to make this card – you can click on any of the images to see the items in my online store (even though some of them aren’t available to customers until June 1):

Julie’s Post-it Note Holder Make-and-Take

Julie DiMatteo also prepared a quick-and-easy make-and-take for the gathering.  We made mini Post-it Note Holders with the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and Jar of Love stamp set.    Here’s the little holder we made on Wednesday:

Beautiful Gift Wrap

That’s not all!  As if all these make-and-takes weren’t enough, Julie had a little gift for each of us – a pack of Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack (from 2016 Annual Catalog) – beautifully wrapped in a piece of Inside the Lines Specialty Designer Series Paper (from 2017 Sale-a-Bration).  The paper makes a perfect wrap with the help of an Envelope Punch Board and a little satin ribbon.
