What fun it was yesterday to share the projects we made at the Paper Pixies Team Meeting I attended on Monday! If you missed that post and want to read about our super-fun activities, you can click here.
The Paper Pixies is Julie DiMatteo’s Stampin’ Up! group (Julie and most of her team are also a part of my InKing Royalty team). Again, here’s a look at the team members who came to Monday’s event (I’m the tall one in the back):
Today I want to share with you the swaps from this event. Each attendee brought a card or a 3-D swap – what fun! This group, just like Julie, leans toward 3-D projects. As you may remember, my swaps featured the Happy Birthday Thinlit Die, Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper and the 2017-2019 In Colors. To see those projects (I shared them on Wednesday), click here. Here are the amazing swaps I received in exchange for my birthday cards:
Julie created a gift card wallet with Gift Bag Punch Board – and the new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper and the new Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy punch. Julie shared her project on her blog yesterday – along with a video she made to walk you through the steps. You can see her post and video here. So cute!
Nolly created a super-fun, tabbed pouch that’s decorated with the new Pretty Label punch (you’re going to want that punch!) and the new Ribbon of Courage stamp set (go ahead and put that set on your must-have list). I’ll be sharing a project with this stamp set over the weekend. The pouch Nolly created perfectly holds little chocolates for a wonderful treat.
Not only did Mariana make these peekaboo gift boxes (perfect for snacks), but she filled them with a bag of HOMEMADE meringue drops that were absolutely delicious. Pam tried to tell me that they weren’t good and simultaneously offered to dispose of them for me – tricky, tricky. You can see that she decorated each gift box with bows created with the Bow Builder punch.
Sandra made an adorable birthday card that showcases the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper (from the Occasions Catalog) and the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die (from the upcoming Annual Catalog). You can’t see it in this picture, but Sandra painted the die-cut words with a Wink of Stella pen – adds such a great touch! It looks like Pam is haunting this photo…
Melanie created a fun little box with a twist top – the top pieces are creased, and the box opens up with a twist of the “handles.” She covered the panels of the box with Party Animal Designer Series Paper and added a sweet sentiment. All that’s great, but inside was a delicious treat – so sweet!
Stefanie constructed a cool Double Z-Fold card with sentiments from Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and butterflies from the Butterfly Basics stamp set and coordinating butterfly dies. All of these panels fold into a card that fits perfectly in a regular envelope. Fun!
Aimee signed up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator the night before this event. She “threw together” a bunch of great flowers with the Succulents Dies – a great variety of different colors and shapes. I put “threw together” in quotes because those were her words – her flowers were all perfectly wonderful and (obviously) not thrown together.
Pam made a cute folder to hold little note cards and envelopes. Her cards were stamped with the soon-to-be-released This Little Piggy stamp set – SO CUTE! The belly band is adorned with a heart from the Wood Words stamp set. You don’t see it here, but the front of the folder is covered with a beautiful pattern of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack. The wood panels and the pigs are a perfect pair. Such a cute project!
What do you think? Aren’t these amazing projects? I hope you’ll leave a comment below to let these team members know how much you appreciate their artistry.
Thanks for stopping by today!
