Everything is cuter when it’s smaller. Think babies, puppies, kittens, Clementines. 3″ x 3″ cards are also in that list – and rightfully so. The card I’ve made to share today may look big and bold on my blog, but it’s teeny-tiny and adorable. I shared this card with my local club this past weekend – it’s simple, but fun. Here’s my card:
- Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I have made so many projects with this Coffee Break Designer Series Paper – I love it, love it, love it! The rich, textured wood grain piece is stunning – you don’t have to dress it up to make it classy. I cropped the Garden Green piece horizontally to give me enough room for the sentiment – and to allow a row of hearts to pop out of either side. What fun! All-in-all, this coffee-themed paper makes a lovely Christmas card, don’t you think? Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in this incredible pack of papers:
Coffee Break Designer Series Paper is one of the papers that’s on sale in October (buy 3, get 1 free) – you don’t want to miss this deal! What fun! Click this banner to see all the papers that are a part of this special:
- Bundling Bundles. When you are working with a 3″ x 3″ card, you don’t have much room for all the components of the bundles you love to use. On this card I used a stamp from one amazing bundle and a punch from another. Bundling key components of these two bundles into one tiny card makes me very happy. Here’s a look at the Hearts Come Home Bundle from which I pulled this fun sentiment:
And here’s a look at the Merry Little Tags Bundle from which I pulled the punch:
The work perfectly together, don’t you think? I’m so glad I had both of these so I could pair them together on this card.
- Warm Christmas Colors. The papers with the wood texture and hearts were pulled right from the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I added a panel of Real Red to convert these pages into a fun Christmas design. Together, these three colors are warm and inviting, don’t you think? If you are inspired by these colors, please save this:

Thanks, Karol! I adore this sentiment, too. I’m so glad you like the card – my club members enjoyed making it, too. <3
Great little card Brian. The Early Expresó really adds something to the traditional holiday red and green.
Thanks, Robbye! I love the warmth of it. <3
A great card for making multiples of. Once in a while I get behind on my card making (oh no – could that be possible?) and this design would really be a great one to CASE. Love it. Thanks for Making My Morning Bright! LOL
Thanks, Grace! It’s a sweet and simple card – so it’s easy to replicate. So glad to share.
Love the color combination. How smart to use the Coffee Break DSP for a Christmas card. I think I’m going to cry when this paper is no longer available. Stockpiling and hoarding are in my future.
I love this paper, too, Dianne! Thanks for your comments – I always appreciate them.
This is the sweetest sentiment in the catalog!
I agree. There’s something very special about it. Thanks, Katrina!
Love this little card 😉
Thanks, Rene! It’s simple, but I love how it all came together. Glad you like it. <3
I love that paper too! This is adorable!
Thanks, Linda! I sometimes have to slap my hand to NOT use the Coffee Break Paper. 🙂
Such a cute little card! You would never know it was “coffee” DSP.
Thanks, Jackie! That’s one of the things I love most about Stampin’ Up!’s printed papers – they are so versatile. 🙂
Precious little card! Love the sweet heart detail. Clementines – YUM!
Thanks, Mary! Clementines are adorable AND delicious, right?! Glad you like the card. I appreciate it.
