DAY SIX: 2017 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap

Holiday One-for-One Swap, Stampin' Up!After collecting a batch of beautiful Holiday One-for-One swap card over the past month, I am excited to share them with you.  This swap is filled with beautiful inspiration, and I know you’re going to love these projects.  In a series of several posts over the next two weeks, I will share these cards with everyone.

I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from cardmakers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years.  Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it shows up on my blog – that way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

If you missed the other posts from the Holiday One-for-One Swap posts, you can see those projects here:

The collection of cards I’m sharing today might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives great ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques – every project is sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the sixth batch of your beautiful cards:

  1. Meredith – Your Hanukkah card is very nice and has a lovely whimsical tone. I wish there were more of these cards to see. Happy holidays!

  2. Festive, sweet and creative. Clever idea to use the stripe pattern as “wallpaper” behind the staircase!

    • MargaretAnn Hammond

Thank you for your nice comments. This was a fun card to make and I enjoy using several stamp sets when I make a card. Happy Thanksgiving

  3. Another wonderful collection of creativity! Great ideas, everyone!

  4. Beautiful, Meredith!

  5. Beautiful cards! Some really great ideas here.

  6. Wow Brian! You really did have a lot of wonderful cards arrive at your door. Day 6 and the creative beauty just keeps coming. These cards are wonderful. Love the use of pastel color too. Something I fail to think of at the holidays, but find so attractive.

  7. It is such a pleasure to see cards from folks from all over the country that are so talented and willing to share. You certainly have a following of talented stampers and every card I’ve seen for all six days has been wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Thank goodness for Chanukah card sample.
    Thank you.

  9. I received the card designed by Diana Barber. Love the non-traditional colors. It is very shimmery in person – can’t see that in the photo. Thanks for the pretty card. Can’t wait to participate in a future one-for-one card swap. Thank you again, Brian for organizing and giving all of us the opportunity to share our art.

  10. Thank you Patti Jean Warren for the beautiful card. I love the way you used the two DSP’s together. The sparkle is the finishing touch. I’ve kept it out sitting on my desk. Everyone’s cards that Brian has posted have been wonderful and different. Brian, thank you so much for doing this swap.

  11. Another day of beautiful cards! I love the use of DSP. Inspires me to use more of mine.

  12. Wow another great parade – who needs the big Macy’s Thanksgiving parade when we are getting several parades out of this swap!?! I am learning so many different ideas to use and something to use off of each and every card! I just love your swap Brian – thank you again for hosting it.

  13. Beautiful job ladies, 2 thumbs up for each of them.

  14. Loida, I really like your simple Christmas card. I’ve been looking for a simple way for making a card with this set. Really nice.

    All todays cards are beautiful.

  15. I was the lucky recipient of Sharon’s beautiful card. Great job Sharon! So glad you were part of the swap and so glad I received your card!

  16. Thank you Connie for the beautiful card. I just love it!
Thank you Brian for hosting the swap, the talent is absolutely amazing.
