♥ Love is in the Air ♥

I set out to make a cute, Valentine’s Day-themed card last week using the sweet hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set. After playing around with elements on my card, my balloon-themed card turned into a sweet bunny-themed card (you can see that card here)- and the balloons were set aside. I picked them back up to make this fun card for two of this week’s online challenges. Here’s my card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

• Lift Me Up. Even with all the wonderful, new products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog, my card features some of my favorites from the Annual Catalog. I love these sweet balloons and the scene we can create with a couple of the fun clouds. Here’s a look at this must-have stamp set:The stamp set was initially offered as a bundle (the bundled offering expired when the set carried over into a new publication). Still, the dies that accompany this set are amazing and should be part of your current stash:
• Love is in the Air. The sentiment on my card is pulled right from the Lift Me Up stamp set – a perfectly coordinated sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade on Thick Whisper White cardstock and cropped it with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. I snipped a bit off the right side of the band so it would align with the Pool Party band.I love the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, introduced in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog. • Color Combination. What do you think about the colors in this card?! While the Pool Party panels play important roles in the makeup of this card, the three balloons really set the tone for the bright, cheery feel of this card.
