You Are a Star with Stitched Stars Dies

We have Stitched Squares, Circles, Ovals, Rectangles, Nested Labels and more. There’s one basic shape that’s been missing from our collection of stitched shapes – stars. That ends on September 4 when Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog is live. Inside the pages of this amazing catalog is a set of Stitched Stars Dies that includes 23 dies. While many of the dies are stars, there are also so great accents that perfect coordinate with the stars. To show how versatile these stars are outside of the Holiday season, I made a “You Are a Star” card for this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge. Here’s my card:

  • So Many Stars Bundle. There’s never been such an appropriate name for a bundle – I won’t even begin to count all of the stars in the stamp set and coordinating dies (there are just too many!). While the stamp set is decidedly Christmas-themed, the dies are not. They are perfect for New Year’s, birthdays, graduations and any celebration in between. Here’s a look at the So Many Stars Bundle, which includes the So Many Stars stamp set and Stitched Stars Dies (a set of 23 dies):So Many Stars Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingHere’s a Stampin’ Up!-produced shot of three projects that showcase this bundle beautifully. Such a great variety in these stars: So Many Stars, Stampin' Up!.jpg
  • Everything Amazing with Stars. My card features three die cuts from the Stitched Stars Dies – a wispy background of stars and swirls, a yellow star and a detailed white star. All of these stars lined up perfectly for me. Here’s a closer look: Stitched Stars Dies, Everything Amazing, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingOn top of my stars, I added a sentiment “YOU ARE A” which is the first sentiment shown below in the Everything Amazing stamp set. I simply masked the “N” at the end of the sentiment and then cropped it with the Classic Label punch. Here’s a look at Everything Amazing:Everything Amazing, Stampin' Up! 149340
  • Color Combination. My heavenly backdrop for this burst of stars was pulled from the pages of See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper. World Card Making Day/Brian’s Fall Stamp-Along

If you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator who is attending OnStage in Atlanta, Georgia, I’d love to invite you to join me for a fun day of fun stamping inspiration, games, swaps and giveaways.

I haven’t yet opened registration for this year’s event (to be held on November 15 at the Atlanta Marriott Gateway), but that doesn’t mean you don’t want to get on the list to find out more when I know more. Stampin’ Up! moved this year’s event to a different location with few options for hosting my event. As such, I am only able to accommodate a smaller crowd that before. I am still working through several ideas for how I can include more people without taking away from the experience for those there.

Placing an order today? Of course you are! If you are placing an order for $150 or more, I want you to enjoy all of the Host Rewards you have earned.  If your order is less than $150, I’d love for you please add this Host Code – XCXRY327 when prompted. Thank you!
