Brian’s Fall Stamp-Along 2019: Part 2

On Wednesday I shared some fun pictures from the event I hosted last week before OnStage in Atlanta (you can see that post here). Brian’s Fall Stamp-Along was hosted to gather demonstrators together from across the U.S. to enjoy a day of stamping, community, games and fun the day before Stampin’ Up!’s event the next day. Participants came from all over, and I loved sharing the day with all of them.

Today I’m sharing some more great photos of this memorable event.

Every. Single. Time. we get together as a group, I promise I’m going to get a great group photo of my team. I made it happen this year (even though 4 or 5 are notably absent from the photo). Here are most of the Royals who attended my day-long event:

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, InKing Royalty Team, Brian King I love each and every one of these ladies and am so happy they were able to attend. I bribed them to get the picture by coordinating the photograph with a small gift I gave to all my team members who attended:

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Brian KingEach team member (and my helpers) received a copper-filled gift of 6″ x 6″ share of the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper), a share of 6″ x 6″ Copper Foil, the Star Designer Elements and 1/2″ Classic Weave Ribbon with copper words.

The day was filled to the brim with games, swaps, make-and-takes and expert presentations. I pulled some strings to convince four amazing artists to present at my event – and all five of us, coincidentally, ranked in Stampin’ Up!’s list of the Global 100 Top Demonstrators. How cool am I to pull that off?!

Mary Deatherage is an expert at building a gorgeous collage on a card, so I asked her to share some tips and tricks for beautifully combining elements on a card front. She’s not only an engaging speaker but left the room with a lot of “ooohs” and “aaahs.” Here’s Mary:

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Mary DeatherageWendy Cranford flew in from California for the OnStage event. I am so happy I was able to include her in the lineup. Wendy shared some amazing tips for coloring with Stampin’ Blends. She’s SO GOOD!

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Wendy CranfordDawn Olchefske flew in from Minnesota to share the stamp set she designed when she earned $1 million in sales at Saturday’s Stampin’ Up! event. She couldn’t get onto the stage at my event (given her fall on the plane), but she narrated from the side while I flipped through her amazing Toile Tidings project:

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Dawn OlchefskeWho doesn’t love instructions for a few 3-D projects from The Paper Pixie?! Julie DiMatteo shared some incredible projects she designed for New Year’s Day and Valentine’s Day. She’s always so organized, thorough and creative.

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Julie DiMatteoTanner Smedley, from Stampin’ Up!’s home office stopped by for a quick meet-and-greet. He told us a little bit about his job as a Demonstrator Development Manager answered questions from the group. He also brought great giveaways, drawing names for each. What fun!

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Brian KingAs I was thanking Tanner for swinging by and wishing I had an appropriate gift nearby, I blurted out, “I have a thank you for you” hoping something would materialize. The only thing within reach was my Tacky Name Tag from earlier in the day, so I gifted it to him.

Late in the day at OnStage Saturday, Tanner (one of the emcees for the OnStage event) was showing off all of the enamel pins he’d received from different stamping teams and groups. After he’d gone through all of them (they lined both of his lapels), he pulled my name tag off the table and threw it over his neck. What  a sport!

Tanner Smedley at OnStageAs a part of my event, I hosted a card swap. Here’s a small segment of the very long line:

I always love a good sport, and this game is always a hit with the crowd!

Brian's Fall Stamp-Along 2019, Brian KingI planned an epic color-themed game where the tables had to assign descriptions of colors to the actual colors. While the game was a total flop (eeek) since no one completed their board correctly, the pictures are quite wonderful.

I’m honored that so many amazing people chose to spend their day with me, and I couldn’t be prouder of the show I put on for them. It’s a lot of work, but I’m so glad I can do it.

Thanks for stopping by today!
