With the launch of each catalog, I host product shares that give you the opportunity to take the amazing papers, ribbons and accessories for a test drive before you decide which ones you can’t live without – and there are A LOT of new items you can’t live without. What is a product share? Here’s a little cartoon I created a while back to help explain how a product share works:
Now that you are fully versed on what shares are (you are so smart and learn so fast), here’s how the process for these shares works:
- Sign up for a spot in one (or more) of the product shares – I’ve included a handy registration form at the base of this post.
- I will bill you through PayPal when all seats in your share are filled.
- On January 3, I’ll place an order for the closed out (and paid) shares.
- Once I receive the product, I’ll quickly divide it up and ship it straight to you.

Designer Series Paper Swatch Books
With the release of each catalog, I create Designer Series Paper Swatch Books – and I love to share them with you. These papers are perfect for all of your Spring projects! Each books is wrapped with a coordinating color of cardstock and labeled for easy identification.

I carry my books to all of my classes so my customers can see and touch all of the amazing papers. I store my books in a little tin on the edge of my desk – it’s such an easy reference tool when I’m creating!

I have partially used packs of DSP for the past several years and I have all the swatch books in a file box stored next to them! The most important thing about Brian’s swatch books for me is the list of coordinating cardstock/ink colors!

Yeah. I always look forward to the swatch books. When I first saw them advertised, I wasn’t too sure. But once I got them, wow! They are invaluable when working with older papers when I can’t remember which catalog they came from or even which colors are used. Can’t recommend these enough.

I have found nothing better than the 3″x 6″ sample books for deciding which papers I just “MUST” have. I have all of my “samples” from the time I found out Brian was making them. I jot a note on a sticky and place on the papers that I purchase full size. It is much easier making cards that coordinate using the samples also.

I absolutely love the paper swatches!! As a hobby demo it allows me to see all the papers so I can determine which ones I like. I don’t always use my paper while it is current so it is nice to have all the information in one place instead of having to hunt it down from the older catalogs. Hi Brian. You know I have been a “paper share” customer of yours for years. Since I am a Cardmaking hobbyist, I don’t look at all of the papers, embellishments, or ribbons… just the ones that catch my eyes immediately. But then I’ll see a card that you’ve made with a paper I totally ignored and am amazed at how cute it is. The Designer Series paper swatch books are the best tool that anyone could ever ask for!! A look at all the Designer Series Papers in one convenient place. I keep mine on my desk so that I can check out the coordinating card stock colors on the back of the swatch book while creating my cards. As a hobby demo,I don’t use very much ribbon & embellishments so I love that I can purchase small amounts and use then use it all up. Then if find I really love it I can purchase the full amount.
