It’s time for another Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop – what fun! The Be Inspired Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world who are excited to share our themed projects with you. I’m so honored to be a part of this group of talented stampers!
For today’s Be Inspired Blog Hop, we are sharing projects inspired by LOVE. My project doesn’t feature hearts or “Valentine’s Day” – instead, it’s a pretty, floral card with a super-sweet sentiment that’s a perfect way to share you loved. If you aren’t starting the hop here, then you probably just popped over from the amazi ng project shared by my talented friend Carolynn Sander.
Here’s my celebration of love for this Be Inspired Blog Hop:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Thoughtful Blooms. I was so excited to sit down to build a background with the sweet Thoughtful Blooms stamp set, one of the exclusive items you can select during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 order. I stamped the flowers with Blushing Bride, the centers with Calypso Coral and the leaves with Pear Pizzazz. I alternated between flowers and leaves to make sure I could achieve the balance I wanted on the card. Here’s a look at the images and sentiments in the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set:While I didn’t use the Small Bloom Punch on this project, the tiny punch coordinates with the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set – AND you can select this punch as a Sale-a-Bration gift with a $100 purchase. Here’s a look at this fun punch:
- A Sweet Sentiment. The focal point of this card isn’t the gingham base, and it isn’t the floral background on the central panel. The focal point of this card is this beautiful sentiment – “Our hearts are meant to be together”:After I tried several punches, I cropped the sentiment with the Pretty Label Punch. I love the rounded edges of the punch – they are a great complement to the flowers in the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set. OK, back to the sentiment – here’s a look at the Heart to Heart Bundle, which includes the Heart to Heart stamp set and Detailed Hearts Dies:
- A Lovely Color Combination. Even though I added a touch of Pool Party to fill in some open spots on my card, the card is built around the colors of the flowers and leaves – Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. If you like this color combination as much as I do, please save this for future reference:
