We’ll Get Through This Together with Beautiful World

This is an important time in our lives. While many of us are feeling very alone and cut-off from the world, there’s also a strong sense that we are all working together for the betterment of this world. It’s funny how those two things can work together so beautifully. I dug into my stash of new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog (available June 3) but incorporated some favorites that are carrying over from the 2019 Annual Catalog. Here’s my card:

Beautiful World Bundle, Good Morning Magnolia, Stampin Up!, Brian KingWhile my card features two new products – a new set of dies (the World Map Dies) and paper (the Misty Moonlight page from the 2020-2022 6″ x 6″ In Colors Designer Series Paper) – the sentiment is from a very familiar and popular stamp set. Do you recognize it?

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Two New. The Beautiful World Suite, new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, is filled with rich tones and rustic, weathered images. The set has a vintage feel to it – with old maps and globes. I freshened up the World Map Dies a bit with Pool Party and Just Jade, giving them a sweet, modern feel. The page is filled with tiny words that tie-in perfectly with this globe – they say “To love what we do and share what we love” (part of Stampin’ Up!’s mission statement) in various languages. • The Sentiment. Early in my post, I mentioned that the sentiment on my card is from a popular, very recognizable stamp set. Do you know which one it is? I was searching for the right sentiment for this card and was FLOORED to find this one – it’s exactly what I wanted. What’s funny – it’s also from a rather “vintage” stamp set but looks so clean here. I won’t keep you hanging…the sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (I placed tape over the top part of my stamp so I could stamp just the second half of the sentiment). Here’s a look at this bundle: Good Morning Magnolia Bundle, Stampin' Up! 151087While both the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and coordinating Magnolia Memory Dies are carrying forward into Stampin’ Up!’s 2020 Annual Catalog, the bundled savings of 10% for buying them both together goes away. If you love this and don’t yet have it, now’s the time to pick up the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle. ♥
  • Color Combination. My card features two of Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2022 In Colors – Just Jade and Misty Moonlight. Here’s a look at all five of this year’s In Colors: Stampin Up! 2020-2022 In Colors Brian KingIf you’d like to read more about these colors, including color comparisons and some of my favorite color combinations with each, CLICK HERE. For today’s card, I combined Just Jade and Misty Moonlight with the softness of Pool Party.
