Today’s a very important day in the United States – no matter where you live in this world, you know today is our day to cast our votes for who represents us in Washington and in our own state governments. You might have guessed that I won’t be sharing my political views on my happy, angst-free craft blog (and I ask that you don’t share yours here, either). Regardless of your political views, I hope you will make your way to a voting place if you haven’t already cast your vote. Hope changes everything – and so does voting. Here’s my card to celebrate Election Day in the United States:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Curvy Celebrations. Not only is today Election Day in the United States, but it’s also the first day that customers can purchase items from the Curvy Celebrations promotion, which includes some early-release products and some exclusive products. I used the Curvy Dies to crop the two curves on my card and the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to build the layers on this card. Here’s a look at the Quite Curvy Bundle, which includes the Curvy Dies:
And here’s a look at the gorgeous patterns and colors in the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:
If you’d like to see all of the options in the Curvy Celebrations promotion (including the two products showcased above), click on this flyer:
- Hope and Stars. As soon as I saw the gorgeous pages of stars in the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, I bemoaned the fact that we didn’t have a patriotic holiday anytime soon – I just love that paper. Late in the day yesterday, it hit me that I could celebrate Election Day, the oft-overlooked day that’s quite possibly more patriotic than any other.
Other than the Curvy Celebrations items showcased above, this card features two great products you might not have expected to see today:- The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Love of Leaves stamp set, new in Stampin’ Up!’s August – December 2020 Mini Catalog. The set features gorgeous leaves and coordinates with the Stitched Leaves Dies, but this sentiment says everything I wanted to say today.
- The trio of stars are cropped from the Stitched Stars Dies. I cropped the stars in the three colors of paper I used and carefully arranged the three stars so that each played an important part along the base of the banner.
- Color Combination. While the Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand patterns on this card are pulled right from the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, I added a Night of Navy base and accents to complete the patriotic theme. If you like this rich mix of Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:

Bundles: Quite Curvy Stamp Sets: Love of Leaves Papers: Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Thick Whisper White Inks: Night of Navy Accessories: Curvy Dies, Stitched Stars Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Regardless of what happens today (or tomorrow or inside the next week), I hope we can move above party lines to work together for the betterment of all people in our wonderful county.
Don’t forget to hop over to buy your Curvy Celebrations products today! You can see all of the options here. I thank you in advance.
Thanks for stopping by today!

What a pretty patriotic card, Brian. I love the star DSP, the stitched star dies, and the color combo. It’s a great layout for a different occasion or for filing for a future patriotic event. Have a great day!
