Who doesn’t love a party!? Today I’m sharing a simple thank you card I’ve made with some new products from Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2021 Mini Catalog and a stamp set you can earn through Sale-a-Bration. More on those in the post. For now, here’s my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Punch Party & Double Oval Punch. When you combine orders with friends or place an order over $300 during Sale-a-Bration (between January 5 and February 28), you can earn an exclusive stamp set that’s pretty wonderful! If you need help pulling together a $300 order, please reach out to me – I’m happy to help. ♥ Here’s a look at the images and sentiments in the Punch Party stamp set:
Not only does this stamp set give us some great ways to say thanks, sorry, get well, love you and more, but it coordinates with three great punches (thus, the Punch Party name). One of the coordinating punches is new in the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog – the Double Oval Punch. Here’s a look:
Here’s a closer look at the sentiment layers on my card (both the sentiment and the oval flourish inside the scalloped oval are from the Punch Part stamp set):
Here are the other two punches that coordinate with this great set:- Rectangular Postage Stamp (#152709)
- Heart Punch Pack (#151292)
- Rectangular Postage Stamp (#152709)
- Layers of Sweet Papers. You might not have immediately expected this, but the layers of Designer Series Paper on my card are pulled from the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. The pages of this paper center around love notes and sweet packages, delivery snails and fun mushrooms. These patterns are particularly perfect as we prepare for Valentine’s Day. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper:
The large of panel of paper measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″, and the small panel measures 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″. I positioned the sentiment perpendicular to the large panel even though the small panel is slanted. - Color Combination. There are only three colors on this card – Real Red, Blushing Bride and Basic White. There was a time in my life when pink and red would not have been paired with one another, so there’s still a little something about it that makes me curl my nose. There’s another part of me, though, that really loves it. If you love this combination of Basic White, Blushing Bride and Real Red as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this graphic for future reference:

Stamp Sets: Punch Party Papers: Snail Mail Designer Series Paper, Real Red, Blushing Bride, Thick Basic White Inks: Real Red, Blushing Bride Accessories: Double Oval Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Happy Saturday, Brian!
I’ve always loved pink and red together … since I first started making Valentine’s Day cards as a little girl. I also spent many hours hand-cutting hearts to go on my Valentines. Hmm … I must have been destined to become a card maker from a very young age. Anyway, I love your pink/red color palette. The DSPs from Snail Mail is charming. Great layout! Thank you, again, Brian.
You are the KING of mixing patterns. Sweet and lovable card!
Cute! That card just makes me smile!
Loving it , my friend ♥️
Hugs Frenchie ♥️
Just doesn’t come any more adorable my friend. Your layout is FANTASTIC.
Love the layout and the card! Thanks for sharing!
Love the layout on this happy card! Glad I have this set and punches! It has been too long without oval punches!
Sweet card, Brian. Love the punch that gives the scalloped layer and solid oval layer in one. Great color combo, too. Enjoy your day!
What a LOVEly card you have for us today Brian. I’m so glad I’ve got that double oval punch on the way. Any double punch is great to me. It just makes life easier. Your card today is striking and the fact that you tilted the central rectangles makes everything stand out. Love, love, love it Brian.
Oh I love a good party! Wonderful mix of paper, patterns, punches and pink!
