Making My Day with Flower & Field

I’m really starting to feel the pressure that Sale-a-Bration ends on February 28 (that’s less than a week away)! I’m surveying my supplies and showcasing the stamp sets and papers I love but haven’t yet shown on my blog. Today, I’m sharing a thank you card I made with two Sale-a-Bration products – one Level One product and one Level Two. I’ll share more about those in a moment. Here’s my card:

Berry Blessings, Perennial Petals Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian King

The focal panel on this card is made up of two panels but uses only one page of paper from the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. The flowers are on one side of this paper, and the stripes are on the opposite page. I thought they looked great together, so I featured a 3/4″ strip of one side-by-side with the other. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, which can be selected as your free item with a $50 order:

Flower and Field Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up!, 155223I love the mix of bright and rich colors in this pack of papers – and so many of them are featured with a black background or black accents. This makes the papers so chic!

The sentiment on my card is pulled from the Berry Blessings stamp set, another Sale-a-Bration item. This stamp set is a Level Two item because this stamp set also comes with a full pack of coordinating Designer Series Paper. I love both! Here’s a look at the Berry Blessings Stamp Set & Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper combination:Berry Blessings, Stampin Up! 157613These two Sale-a-Bration items, while key to this sweet card, are not the only attention-grabber here. I cropped some Basic White flowers from the Perennial Petals Dies, part of the Pretty Perennials Bundle and added them to this card. The white flowers look great against the rich background. I added Black Matte Dots to the center of the white flowers for added texture. Here’s a closer look:

Berry Blessings, Perennial Petals Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Stampin Up!, Brian KingHow fun are those flowers?! Here’s a look at the Pretty Perennials Bundle:

Pretty Perennials Bundle, Stampin Up! 156234I don’t use Cherry Cobbler a lot outside of Christmas or Valentine’s Day projects – I usually reach for the softer or brighter reds outside of these holidays. I’m really drawn to the mix of Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink in this floral paper – and they all look so great against the Basic Black backdrop. If you are as drawn to this mix of Flirty Flamingo, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black as I am, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
