So Sorry for Your Loss with Encircled in Beauty Dies

Before Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper Sale wraps up on Monday, I’m trying my best to use some of my favorite patterns from papers in the sale. At 15% off, there’s little reason to not place an order today to pick up one of these nine packs of paper. How fun!

I’ve created a sympathy card that combines two unlikely paper packs – a jungle-themed pack of papers and a Christmas-themed pack of papers. Still, they combine to create a beautiful pattern for a beautiful card. Sympathy cards are the most difficult to make, but it can be made easier when you have the right papers to work with. Here’s my card:

The card combines one print from In the Wild Designer Series Paper (I love this page of wild flowers) with a woven panel from Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (how gorgeous!). Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the In the Wild Designer Series Paper:

I popped that up on an intricate design from the Encircled in Beauty Dies. Here’s a look at this incredible set of dies:

Encircled in Beauty Dies, Stampin Up! 155546As you can see, five of these dies cut out a complete image, while one of them cuts into a panel of paper to create a beautiful design in the paper. Such a smart, versatile set of dies! Here’s a closer look at this sophisticated die-cut image:

One of the benefits of purchasing Designer Series Paper at a discount – you won’t feel guilty at all about adding it to the outside of the envelope. That makes it all the more special for the recipient, who knows you made their card just for them.
