Dear Friend with Eden’s Garden

Today’s the day you’ve been waiting for – the release of Eden’s Garden Collection, which includes an early-release bundle and some limited time accessories you don’t want to miss. On Sunday I introduced you to the newly released Eden’s Garden Collection. If you missed that post (or want to re-whet your whistle), CLICK HERE.

We’ve just about made it through two years of being disconnected from friends, family and live events. Now is as important a time as any to check in on those who are cut off from the rest of the world. I’ve made a card with four elements on this new collection:

Edens Garden, Stampin Up!, Brian KingI looked to a recent Halloween card for layout inspiration on this card (you can see that card, with measurements for the layers, here). Before I share a little more about the elements of this card, here’s a look at the Eden’s + Add New Category Garden Collection:

Eden's Garden Collection, Stampin Up! 160849This collection includes the following items (that can also be purchased separately, but you’ll want all of them):

  • Eden’s Garden Cling Stamp Set
  • Eden Dies
  • Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Ever Eden Cotton Paper
  • Garden Gems

The layers on this card are designed to showcase the new products I used – I was grateful for the Halloween card I CASED to make this one. With that layout, I was able to showcase two pages of the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper, a sheet of the Ever Eden Cotton Paper, a gorgeous cutout with the Eden Dies and a stamped sentiment from the Eden’s Garden Cling Stamp Set.

How gorgeous is the mix of Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent?! I love them together. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 159996While the sentiment and layers of Specialty Designer Series Paper are pretty self-explanatory, I wanted to point your attention to the layer between the card base and the Designer Series Paper layer. Did you notice the crinkled tissue paper? I used a panel of Soft Succulent cotton paper from the Ever Eden Cotton Paper to add a little (but not distracting) texture to my card. Here’s a closer look:
