I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. Since the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper first debuted in Stampin’ Up!’s January – June 2022 Mini Catalog, I have used it FAR MORE than I thought I have. The fun mix of colors and patterns lend themselves to projects that are either playful or beautiful. This is a versatile pack of papers that will come in handy for so many occasions – and it’s sold in a FUN 4″ x 6″ size. I’m excited to share a bit more about this pack of papers today.
I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper:
How fun are these images and colors?! If you haven’t studied the pages, I hope you will take a closer look (you can click on the image above to flip through the pages in my online store). The pack includes Balmy Blue, Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Night of Nay and Pumpkin Pie. What a wonderful mix of colors!

Inspiration
I have really enjoyed working with the pages in the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love the colors and imagery in the papers – a great mix! Here are some of my projects with the pages from the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper (you can click on each photo to read the original post about each project):
There are some really great prints in this pack of papers – all of these pages are really fun to play with – especially when you add other colors to the colors found in the papers. Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Straight from the Papers
These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this pack of the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper – such a great variety of colors in this pack of papers:
Combined with Other Colors
By adding one other color to the shades in these papers, you can really transform the feel of the pages – or create all new combinations with inspiration from the paper. Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:
By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.
I hope you find this helpful, I and I hope some of these combinations inspire you. Please save any (or all of these) to Pinterest for future reference.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Great color combos! Thanks for the inspiration!
That DSP is a keeper for sure because it is so practical. Great color selections and
some are retired ,but there are other substitutes to fill in similar in color .
I like your pretty card parade !
I think Abstract Beauty, the suite, is probably my most favorite thing SU! has done to date. I sure wish I had gotten more Jade card stock!
