In the excitement leading up to last weekend’s World Card Making Day event, Stampin’ Up! introduced us to a new bundle – Warm Welcome. While the stamp set images and sentiments center around an opening door (I love the concept!), I decided to showcase the stamp set a little differently. Here’s the card I made with the Warm Welcome stamp set:
Stampin’ Up! has done an amazing thing with the Warm Welcome Bundle that we’ve not seen before. Here’s a clue – the Warm Welcome Bundle features the Warm Welcome stamp set and Warm Welcome Dies. In case you missed it, the stamp set and coordinating dies have THE SAME NAME! What a huge win! That will certainly make it easier to pair our stamps with our dies going forward – and it gives the product-namers (that’s a position at the company, right?) at Stampin’ Up! an easier task. 🙂 Here’s a look at the Warm Welcome Bundle:
I built several layers to showcase the friendly bouquet-giver on my card. Here’s a rundown of the measurements of each layer, starting with the base of the card and working my way to the “hello” sentiment at the top:
- Crumb Cake – 4-1/4″ x 11″ (scored at 5-1/2″)
- Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Crumb Cake) – 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Basic Black – 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Thick Basic White – 3″ square
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Fresh Freesia) – 3″ square
- 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (Polished Pink) – 3-1/2″ square

The circles in my card are cropped with the Stylish Shapes Dies, which leave a stitched edge on the inside and outside of the cropped circle, so my cutouts feature a stitched edge. Love that! I layered the striped pieces so they were perfectly aligned:
Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink, two of Stampin’ Up!’s 2021-2023 In Colors, are really sweet together. To temper the sweetness, I added lots of Basic Black and Crumb Cake to the design. If you like this mix of Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Crumb Cake as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
