Over the past several weeks, I’ve been running to my mail box to collect the GORGEOUS cards you’ve sent for my 2022 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap. I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. It takes A LOT to gasp when opening cards, but I did that SEVERAL times when opening the one-for-one swaps. There were SO MANY gorgeous cards in the One-for-One Swap that I could have showcased each one and told you all the things I loved about each one. I pulled two from the bunch and am showcasing them separately. Today I’m sharing the second of the two cards that gave me a HUGE smile. I hope you love this amazing card from Jacquelynn Donaldson as much as I do:

What’s black and white and red all over? This gorgeous card! I was stunned to see this new spin on a classic that’s been around for a while. SO gorgeous! Jacquelynn showcased the pine cones, leaves and berries from the Christmas Season stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2022 Annual Catalog. The images in the set are beautiful in browns and greens, but there’s something AMAZING about seeing them in black and gray on her card.

The Seasonal Labels Dies, also available in the 2022 Annual Catalog, includes some leaves and pine cones but many labels that can be used throughout the year. Jacquelynn used these dies to crop out the focal arrangement on her card. Here’s a look at the Seasonal Labels Die:

Jacquelynn was smart to showcase her arrangement of pine cones, leaves and berries on a black-and-white pattern from the the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper. This pack of 48 pages of 12″ x 12″ papers retires on January 4 (or when they are sold out). And…can we talk about how beautiful the sentiment is on this card? This beautifully scripted “Merry Christmas” is found in the Brightest Glow stamp set from Stampin’ Up!’s July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. Such a great set!
