Give Me Just a Little More Shine

My projects over the past week have had a little more shine to them – foils, metallic dots and shiny trim can really add something special to a card. I thought today might be a good day to take a look at some fun ways to add a little shine to a project.

While there are MANY ways to add a little shine to your projects here are some of my favorites:

  • foil papers or papers with foil accents
  • shiny embellishments or trinkets (with metallic, color or clear finishes)
  • shiny ribbons and trims
  • a little Wink of Stella
  • glimmer papers
  • embossing powders (even white embossing powder can add shine)
  • faux embossing with packing tape (showcased in the Christmas tree card below)
  • window sheets

I’m going to share some projects I’ve created over the past year with shiny elements and then share some links to shiny products you might want to check out!
