Yesterday I shared a quartet of cards I made by mixing-and-matching the beautiful papers in the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper. If you missed that post, I hope you’ll check out the projects here. Today, I’m sharing the card I originally set out to make with these gorgeous papers. Here’s a slimline card I made with four panels of the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper that fit together seamlessly on my card:
My Gray Granite card base measures 8-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ (scored at 3-3/4″) and fits nicely inside one of Stampin’ Up!’s Slimline Envelopes. How sweet is this size of card?!
The panels on my card are pulled from a design in the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper that’s presented in ombre colors (each is the mix of two tones). Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper:
These are the two pages I used to make the four panels on my card:
Each panel measures 2″ wide and 2-1/2″ tall. Together, they are 8″ wide – so I needed the longer card to fit them all in. I added a layered “thanks” from the Amazing Thanks Dies. If you don’t have these dies, I’m going to sweetly ask you to please buy them today. Thanks! Here’s a closer look at the panels and “thanks” on my card:

Aren’t these pages beautiful!? Thanks, Mary!
Another great card using this pretty paper pack. Love it! Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much, my friend! ♥
Perfect! Love the match up of the DSP and the Gray Granite reflects what mountains are made of.
Thanks, Wendie! I’ve seen moutainscapes in all of these colors (love them so much)- and the gray mountain itself. Couldn’t love these papers more.
Awesome slimline card! Very creative.
Thanks, Wendy! ♥
Great idea, long or short!! So happy to have a reason to chop this paper up in a design I did n’t even imagine! Sweet, simple and striking!
Thank you so much! I’m thrilled you like it – these papers don’t disappoint.
Yesterday’s and today’s are just beautiful! Will be CASE-ing these when I get home from work!
Thank you so much, Georgette! I hope you have fun with it. 🙂
Who knew mathematical precision in cutting and aligning would equal design perfection? (Well, YOU, obviously!)
Just…WOW. So beautiful.
Math is my strongest character trait – being adorable is my other. 🙂 Thanks, Linda!
Wow putting all those together really works well. I may have to case it. I’m always looking for card front ideas for birthday cards for the 12 guys I work with 🙂
I’m so glad you like it, Donata! I hope you have fun playing with these patterns! ♥
Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!
