Time for a Celebration

I received a note from a customer yesterday to let me know that the catalogs are being delivered! After three full days of jury duty (and trying to catch up with work and my blog in the evenings), I had a little time to play last night. Of course I reached for some of my new products from the 2023 Annual Catalog to make something fun – I needed that. Here’s the card I made:

The sentiment on the card is pulled from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set (I heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Blueberry Bushel cardstock), new in the 2023 Annual Catalog. No matter how wonderful the sentiment is, though, the colorful fringe on this card is the star. The fringe is cropped with the die at the bottom of the picture below. Here’s a look at the Beautiful Balloons Bundle:

The striped, fringed paper is cropped from 1″ strips of the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the Beautiful Balloons stamp set. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper:

The five, one-inch strips of fringe on my card start on the left side of this paper and extend 4″. The colors on this paper (from left to right) are Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, Berry Burst, Misty Moonlight, Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon and Pretty Peacock. Here’s a closer look:
