Congratulations for FMS583

The moment I saw Narelle Farrugia’s sketch for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, I knew I’d be playing along. While Narelle’s sketch features a rainbow and clouds, I substituted for sunshine, hearts and stars (but the clouds are still there). Here’s the card I made for this week’s challenge:

How happy is that?! Hearts, stars and sunshine – does it get any better than that?! Here’s a look at Narelle’s sketch that inspired my project:

My card started with a little swirl of sunshine from the Rays of Light background stamp. I swirled a little Daffodil Delight on the large background stamp with a Blending Brush. Rather than lift the stamp to stamp it on Basic White cardstock, I placed the piece of cardstock on the stamp and gently rubbed the paper to pick up the ink. So sweet! Here’s a look at this stamp set, which carries into the 2023 Annual Catalog:

The clouds, heart and stars create a little collage of happy elements on the card – I love each of them. Here’s a closer look:

All three of the elements are pulled from the Give it a Whirl Dies – while they are designed to create rotating wheel cards, there are so many great elements that are perfect for any other project. Here’s a look at Give it a Whirl Dies:

The sentiment on my card is from the Charming Sentiments stamp set – one of my customers’ favorites this past year.
