Your Friendship Means Everything with Cheerful Daisies

What started as a simple card with a simple idea has turned into much more than I anticipated, but it just got better and better with each addition. Here’s a card I made with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle and small strips of the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper:

My card features a mix of stamps and dies from the Cheerful Daisies Bundle – some are hidden in the arrangement of beauties on the card (two label dies are tucked behind the flowers and stems). Here’s a look at the Cheerful Daisies Bundle, new in Stampin’ Up!’s 2023 Annual Catalog:

After I arranged the strips on the card, I “flicked” a Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend and a Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blend over the panel to add a little more texture to the pieces. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (which, by the way, features all five of the 2023-2025 In Colors):

Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper, Stampin Up! 161289I stamped the flower outline with Copper Clay ink and then inked up the solid petals stamps with Wild Wheat ink, lightly stamped it off once and then filled in the Copper Clay outline. That gave me the exact amount of color I wanted on the petals of the flowers.

Once I had all the flowers, leaves and other elements positioned on my card, I added three copper sequins from the new Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins. A perfect accent to the warm colors in my card. Here’s a look at the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins:

  9. Hi Brian
I’m a hobby demo and not really good with figuring out some things. I recently acquired the Blossoms in Bloom set. Not sure how to use the dies can you help me please do you cut the two large dies separately or together? If together how do you set them up in the cutter?

  10. Love both thee cards Brian. The first one is elegant and the second is playful.
