If you are a fan of Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers, then you are in love with the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper that Stampin’ Up! released earlier this month. What an incredible pack of gorgeous flowers in bright, cheery colors! The moment these papers arrived at my house, I knew I’d use them decorate some team gifts I was sending out. No way to resist the charms of these sweet flowers. Here’s a look at the simple design on the top of a Mini Pizza Box (retired):
Sweet and simple! These flowers are a standout, and the Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon accents the design perfectly without taking away from the floral design. A trio of rhinestones adds a little accent and pairs well with the ribbon. Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper (you can click on the image below to see all of these pages in my online store):
I used the full page of flowers to make these boxes – I could make 8 designs from one page so I whipped through an entire pack-and-a-half to make these boxes. Here’s a look at the page:
I cut the page in half down the middle (in the white space) and then cut 3″ down from there to create the squares I used on the boxes. Don’t worry! I used the lower 3″ of each side on the card I tucked inside. I’ll show you those cards tomorrow, but I still have some things I want to share about these boxes.
While I admit to collecting all the ribbons, I don’t use them a lot on my projects. This Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon is easy to work with and steals the show! Here’s a look at this amazing ribbon:
I selected four colors from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper to accent my gifts – Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Highland Heather. I made five of each color. I made thin tags for each gift (with a sentiment from Sentimental Park). While each recipient received one color, they look lovely as a collection. Here’s a look at each of the four colors together:
Here’s a look at all of the four colors together – Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Highland Heather:
