Thanks with Caring Leaves

The weather has been lovely in Atlanta – there’s only a tinge of heat in the afternoon air, and the mornings and evenings have been crisp and cool. While some leaves are starting to fall, they haven’t haven’t yet started changing colors. That doesn’t mean I can’t start dreaming, though. Right?! With Autumn just around the corner, I made this card with the Caring Leaves stamp set:

Caring Leaves, Simply Said, Festive Words, Stampin Up!, Brian King

Tucked away in the back of Stampin’ Up!’s 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog (page 59) is a little stamp set called Caring Leaves. The simple, but sweet, images create a two-step stamping experience that allows us to build beautiful leaves in a variety of colors. Here’s a look at the Caring Leaves stamp set:

Caring Leaves, Stampin Up! 164273Along the left corner of a 3-1/5″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a pile of gorgeous leaves – I stamped each with a duo of Stampin’ Up! colors that are perfect for Fall. I started with the darker tone and the leaf outlines and then filled in each with the coordinating lighter tone. Here are the combinations I used for each of the leaves: Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Old Olive, Garden Green Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie

After all of my leaves were stamped, I filled some of the spaces and added a little extra umph with a stamp of little spots found in the Festive Words stamp set I showcased yesterday. To see that post, click here. I stamped “THANK YOU” from the Simply Said stamp set (one of my most-used stamp sets) with Versamark and sprinkled it with white Wow! embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. Here’s a closer look at the sentiment and some of the leaves behind it:

I added three Iridescent Foil Gems as a little accent around the sentiment (and to add a little extra shine).
