A Little Bit Festive

I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. We have so many brand new Designer Series Papers in the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog to play with, and the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper gives us some incredible designs and colors. I have reached for these papers a lot and will keep reaching for these brilliant papers over the coming months – they are SUCH FUN! I’m excited to share a bit more about these papers today.

I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper:

This fun pack of papers includes three pages of punch-out designs (including a page of designs perfect for card bases) and three double-sided designs that are versatile and perfect for Christmas projects (and beyond). The colors in this pack include Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Pecan Pie, Pretty in Pink, Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Real Red and Very Vanilla. What a festive collection of designs and fun mix of colors!

Inspiration

I have really enjoyed working with the pages in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper over the past week – how could I not?! Here are some of my projects with the pages from the papers (you can click on each photo to read the original post about each project):

Today I’m going to share a couple suggestions for pulling together great color combinations with the patterns in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Straight from the Papers

These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper – such a great variety of colors in this pack of papers:

Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Pretty in Pink, Pool Party, Misty Moonlight Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Pretty Peacock

Combined with Other Colors

By adding one other color to the shades in these papers, you can really transform the feel of the pages – or create all new combinations with inspiration from the paper. Here are some color combinations that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Real Red, Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss Stampin Up! Color Inspiration - Very Vanilla, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight

By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.

I hope you find this helpful, and I hope some of these combinations inspire you.  Please save any (or all of these) to Pinterest for future reference.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Lovely and fun color inspiration and card ideas!

  2. Thanks for the color combos!

  3. Hello Brian! I have left comments for you several times probably in the past year and I haven’t received a response from you. It has been my experience that it is not like you to not respond to a message. My message was that even though I am no longer a SU Demonstrator, I am still very much interested in my stamping hobby and Stampin’ Up Products. I would like to continue to receive the catalogs – Annual, Minis, and SAB. Would you please put me on your direct mailing list. On Sept. 14, I placed an order in your store of products from the current Mini Catalog. I would like a “hard copy” of the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. Would you please be so kind as to send me the Mini Catalog.
