SNEAK PEEK: Umbrella Days Bundle

On November 5, Stampin’ Up! will release an incredible collections of products in the Online Exclusives. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are able to order these items early – and my order arrived while I was on vacation. Today I’m sharing a card I made with one of the bundles in this upcoming collections. I was excited to break into these new goodies and make this card:

My card features the upcoming Umbrella Days Bundle, which includes beautiful imagery, gorgeous sentiments and dies to create a variety of scenes with the featured umbrellas. Here’s a look at this bundle that will be available to customers on November 5:

I paper-pieced the umbrella-toting character by stamping the image on Thick White and cropping him with the coordinating dies. I then stamped the image on Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Boho Blue and cut out each of the components. I layered them on the white image for a solid, colorful image. Here’s a closer look:

You can likely tell from the image above that I featured two shades of Pool Party on my card – one one the base layer and one on the smaller, focal layer. I used the Pool Party Two-Tone 12″ x 12″ cardstock from the Online Scrapbooking Catalog that went live earlier this month. The paper features one side that’s “classic Pool Party” and one side that’s a bit lighter. There are so many great ways to showcase this paper, but I chose to simply layer them on each other for a lovely effect. Here’s a look:

I stamped the raindrops with Pool Party ink and added a cloud (in Basic White) and a puddle (in Pool Party) to accent my rain-goer. Here’s a look at the sentiment on the inside of this card:
