Today is Sunday – and that means it’s time to take a look back at the past week in my Week in Review post. In today’s post, I want to share a quick rundown of the week (for those who don’t follow me every day) and a little extra background (for those who already tune in daily). But first…I want to share a little bit about what’s been going on in my world this week.
When meteorologists predicted snow in Atlanta for Friday, I was skeptical. While I am always fearful of ice (it cripples this city that is unprepared for such weather), I was skeptical it would get back on Friday. Reports suggested we might get 7-9 inches, which is such an insane estimate that I didn’t trust any of the predictions. When all was said and done, we received about 3 inches of snow here. Here’s a picture of my back yard (from just outside the Fungeon door):
The snowfall stopped on Friday, and much of it stuck around for Saturday. It was lovely – until it was no longer lovely. 🙂
More Weather …
I placed my big product shares order at 2:00 am on Tuesday and paid for 2-day shipping. I kept my calendar wide open for the weekend, ready to start sorting and cutting and packaging the product shares and Designer Series Paper swatch books. Unfortunately, though, the boxes are stuck with UPS in Utah with no clear tracking for when they will arrive. As such, the shares won’t be in the mail this Monday (as normal), but I’ll get to them as soon as they arrive. Thank you for your patience – and kudos to me for the patience I’m displaying. 🙂
Now that we’ve got all of that weather talk out of the way, let’s get to my weekly wrap up…Much of the week was spent diving into the new catalogs – there’s lots of great content this week if you want to learn more about the new offerings. ♥
Monday
Monday was New Catalog Eve and the last day to sign up for my product shares and our latest Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kit. I reminded you of these deadlines and did my very best to prepare you for the upcoming promotions:
- the Spring 2025 Mini Catalog
- the January 2025 Online Exclusives
- the January 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure
- the January-February 2025 Sale-a-Bration Brochure
If you would love a rundown (or refresher), you can SEE THAT POST HERE.
Tuesday
With Tuesday’s launch of the new products, I shared links to all the new product suites in the Spring 2025 Mini Catalog and the January 2025 Online Exclusives. In all, there are SEVEN suites that deserve your attention.
Please don’t tell the others, but the Mixed Media Florals Suite is probably my favorite of all the product suite collections:
I love both of the bundles and can’t get enough of the Designer Series Papers. There’s also a pack of Memories & More cards that coordinates – and each card is spectacular.

Wednesday
As with the launch of every catalog, I featured the Designer Series Papers (and a favorite color combination from each) on Day 2 of the catalog launch. I featured all six of the papers, showing you the colors and patterns in each. I love all of the colors and patterns, but I’m really drawn to the bright, bold colors in the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Papers. I particularly love this combination of Summer Splash, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo:

Thursday
With all of the releases on Tuesday, I shared a look at the incredible Designer Series Papers (and my favorite color combinations) from the papers in the January 2025 Online Exclusives, January 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure and January-February 2025 Sale-a-Bration Brochure. In total, there are seven beautiful papers in this collection.
I love the colors in the Toadstool Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and am wow’d by the gorgeous imagery in the Everyday Skies 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (and you already know how I feel about the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper), but I must admit I’m really, really excited about the Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper. The designs are the same as the Bee My Valentine Designer Series Paper, but the colors are VERY different. Here’s a look:

Friday
Friday was Mom’s birthday. While I was stuck inside during the Atlanta snowstorm, she was also stuck inside with a light dusting of snow. They typically get more snow in Greenville, SC than we get in Atlanta, GA, but we had the pretty snow this time.
Here’s the card I made for Mom this year:
I usually design Mom’s birthday card with blue flowers or a beautiful cake (she loves both), but I couldn’t resist a watermelon card this year with the Fruit Salad 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from this year’s Sale-a-Bration. Mom LOVES watermelon (and I don’t), so I knew she’d like it. 🙂

Saturday
I shared two lovely cards I received from supporting friends at Stampin’ Up! that feature the Mixed Media Florals stamp set. Both are great ways to simply showcase the flowers in this set. Here’s a look at these cards:
In my post, I walked you through elements of each of these cards that I love so much. If you’d like read more about these projects or get a closer look, CLICK HERE.
It’s going to be a big week – and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Let is snow with a week of amazing creative ideas!
🙂 Thanks so much, Mary!
I always enjoy your weekly catch ups because it’s difficult to read all of my subscriptions as they come in. Your cards are so crisp & clean, something I find difficult to achieve. I love your blog.
My sister lives in Gainesville GA and posted about all the snow too. I know how paralyzing it is to having the least bit of snow when one isn’t prepared with snowplows, salt and snow trucks, etc. Stay safe.
Thanks so much, Beth! We welcome the snow (as long as we know/believe it’s coming). It’s melting away (for now), but it looks like we have more coming next week. ♥
What a absolutely beautiful backyard you have!! I hope that you have/make time to enjoy it in warmer weather!!
Thanks, Janice! It was a wonderful find – we toured this house the day it went on the market. The creek breaks in our back yard, so the constant sound always creates a lovely ambience.
