On My Mind with Planted Paradise – and 11 New Sale-a-Bration Options!

Before I give you a look at the card I made to share with you today, I have some good news.

I still can’t believe we navigated our way through January (the month felt a year long), but here we are in February! Yay! As we roll into the shortest month and the second month of Sale-a-Bration, Stampin’ Up! has added ELEVEN new options to the Sale-a-Bration lineup. I’m gob smacked by some of these options – what an incredible line up!

More to Sale-a-BrateHere’s a look at the ELEVEN items that have been added to the Sale-a-Bration lineup. Each of these products can be selected with a $60 order.

Please note: the product numbers on these products are different from the product numbers for the catalog items. You can still buy them with their original product number, but you’ll want to use these numbers when you select them as your free Sale-a-Bration items.

To celebrate the launch of the new additions to Sale-a-Bration (did you see that discussion above?), I inked up my Planted Paradise stamp set to build a potted plant. The images stamped so easily, and the card nearly built itself around the greenery. Here’s my card:

Here’s a look at the Planted Paradise stamp set that can be purchased in the online store (using the code on the graphic below) or selected as a Sale-a-Bration option when you spend $60 (using product #168079):

Planted Paradise, Stampin Up! 162925The stamp set includes 20 stamps that can be stamped on one side for a detailed image and the other for a shaded highlight. On my card, I stamped the trio of leaves at the back of my arrangement with Soft Sea Foam on the back of the stamp and Mossy Meadow on the detailed front. I love the versatility in this set.

I stamped the of the leaves with Mossy Meadow, a trio of leaves with Shaded Spruce and a single one with Pretty Peacock. I love the combination! I stamped the leaves and vase on Basic White cardstock and cut them out with Paper Snips Scissors. Here’s a closer look:

The super-sweet sentiment on my card is pulled from the Mixed Labels stamp set – I wanted something simple and powerful that wouldn’t take away from the leaves above it. This was it! Here’s a look at the variety of sentiments in the Mixed Labels Bundle:

The Pecan Pie panel behind the focal panel is pulled from the GORGEOUS Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. This paper is currently unavailable, but it’s expected to be back in stock next week (which sometimes means the end of this week). How exciting!

I added three Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots for a little extra shine that coordinates so well with the card.

Stamps: Planted Paradise, Mixed Labels  Papers: Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Thick Basic White  Inks: Mossy Meadow, Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie  Accessories: Pecan Pie Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots, Paper Snips Scissors, Stampin’ Dimensionals
