A Dino-Mite Birthday

The Planted Paradise stamp set, one of the new additions to Sale-a-Bration, is a reversible stamp set that allows us to stamp with the detailed image on one side and the coordinating shadow image on the other. I was was playing with this set earlier this week, I stamped the backside of the image of leaves and immediately thought it looked like dinosaur feet. I immediately reached for the Darling Dinos bundle to complete this vibrant, bright birthday card:

The stamp set I used to make the dinosaur tracks (the stamp set can be purchased in the online store using the code on the graphic below or selected as a Sale-a-Bration option when you spend $60 using product #168079. The balloons on the card and the fun sentiment are stamped with the Darling Dinos Bundle. Here’s a look at this fun bundle:

Darling Dinos Bundle, Stampin Up!, 164735While there is a string in the stamp set for the balloons, I wanted longer, wavier strings. I used the bullet tip of my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw a string and then cut it out for my card. Here’s a closer look at the balloons on my card:

Darling Dinos Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI added a Daffodil Delight balloon to my card for a new color (you can always add yellow), but it’s the mix of Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Azure Afternoon that I love so much on this card. If you love this combination as much as I do, I hope you’ll save this for future reference:
