Autumn is just around the corner – my very favorite time of the year! While I can’t say I’ve ever actually curled up on the porch with a blanket, a book, and a cup of hot cocoa, that’s exactly how I feel for the entirety of Fall. Cozy, happy, and ready to soak in the season.
Coneflowers start popping up in mid-summer and carry us into early Fall, making this the perfect time to play with my Coneflower Celebrations Bundle. I’m going to be creatively prepared for the season ahead.
Here’s the card I made with this super-sweet bundle:
The Coneflower Celebrations Bundle includes beautiful line art images, versatile sentiments, and a clever die that lets you make a tag that opens like a card—or even a small flower-shaped card to layer onto your projects. I didn’t use that die on today’s card, but it’s such a cool option to have on hand! Here’s a look at the Coneflower Celebrations Bundle:
For my coneflower, I cropped the detailed petals three times in Darling Duckling cardstock, then added a bit of Darling Duckling ink with a Blending Brush for extra depth. Layering the petals gives this flower so much dimension! I topped it off with an Early Espresso cap for a natural, detailed finish.

To give my bloom the perfect backdrop, I turned to the textured Azure Afternoon pattern in the Everyday Skies 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. While Autumn skies can typically be a mix of moody and bright, this bold blue was just the look I wanted for my card. I cropped it with the second-largest die from the Perennial Postage Dies and popped it up over a Basic White layer cut with the largest die.

This gorgeous pack includes 23 colors—a true must-have! To finish my card, I heat embossed the sentiment “You Made My Day” in white on a ½” strip of Basic Gray cardstock, then added a few Azure Afternoon dots from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. Just the right pop of color!
There are so many fun elements on this card, but none of them take away from the star of the show—the gorgeous coneflower at its center.
