Fa La La Fun with Snowy Delights

I can be so annoying sometimes. While I set out to make a simple card with a focused number of products, the card I’m sharing today features products from MANY suites and product collections. MANY. I try so hard to focus my attention on select items, but I’m just too excited by the variety available to me. Here’s the card I’ve made to share with you today:

My card started with this LOVELY page of “fa la la la la”s from the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love it so, so much and have been itching to showcase it. Happy to scratch that itch today. Here’s a look at the gorgeous patterns and colors in the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Snowflakes to the rescue! Here’s a look at the Snowy Delights Bundle – more about it on the other side:

While the image above only shows two products, the bundle includes all of the following:

  • Snowy Delights Stamp Set
  • Snowy Delights Dies
  • Snowy Delights Decorative Masks

Because the dies are not showcased above, here’s a look at the Snowy Delights Dies (I used the two detailed dies to build the snowflakes on my card):

A background of “fa la la la la” deserves a sentiment that matches its joy. “’Tis the season” is the perfect opener for the familiar Christmas favorite. I had several options available to me in the Greetings for You Mix & Match Ephemera Pack – and chose the one that would be simplest to frame in black. Here’s a look at the gold foil sentiments in the Greetings for You pack:

I reached for the Pool Party sequins in the Traditional Sparkling Sequins but decided the gold sequins would better coordinate with the gold foil sentiment. I love the options. Here’s a look at these must-have embellishments:

Traditional Sparkling Sequins, Stampin' Up! 165875Even though I pulled from several different collections, this card came together so happily. The combination of festive paper, elegant snowflakes, and a golden sentiment perfectly captures the spirit of the season. Sometimes it pays to ignore my self-imposed rules and just play with the products that make me smile. ♥
