One Design, Two Cards
To celebrate the return of these incredible papers, I didn’t just make one card—I made two! I wanted to show how versatile these designs are, so I created both a Christmas card and a birthday card using the same layout, switching out just a few papers and details.
Here’s the Christmas card I made with the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper:
I pulled four patterns from this pack for my Christmas card—the floral backdrop, the green panel, the Stylish Shapes Dies circle, and the hand-cropped bouquet of flowers. The picture above doesn’t quite capture the shimmer on this card, so here’s a closer look:
The sentiment is from the Seasonal Tags stamp set (love it!), and I added three Flower Accents for a little extra shine. Easy peasy!
I cropped a different bouquet of flowers (this one in Pool Party and White) to create a birthday card with the same layout but a few subtle swaps. Here’s that card:
The red background is replaced with a Pool Party page from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, and I used a different Secret Sea page from the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper for the Stylish Shapes Dies cutout. The sentiment comes from the Simply Said stamp set.
