It’s officially Thanksgiving week – my favorite holiday of the year. The grocery shopping is complete, and we’re ready to cook, bake and … eat. In the spirit of gratitude and celebration, I’ve made a gorgeous thank you card with some of Stampin’ Up!’s most beautiful products. Here’s the card I made to share with you today:
The focal point of my card is a heartfelt sentiment from the Label Me Grateful stamp set, cropped with the coordinating Label Me Grateful Dies. Here’s a look at that bundle:
How incredible is this label die?! I love it so much! Even if you don’t have time to order this bundle before this year’s Thanksgiving festivities, it’s a great one to keep on-hand for next year and for all kinds of gratitude-inspired projects throughout the year.
While the Label Me Grateful Bundle holds the spotlight, there are a few strong supporting players that make this design shine. Let’s start with the THREE panels of the Gather Together Specialty Designer Series Paper behind the sentiment… gorgeous, right?! Here’s a look at the colors and patterns in the Gather Together Specialty Designer Series Paper:
My card features these three patterns from the pack:
- Early Espresso panel (4″ x 5-1/4″) – adds richness and soft texture to the card
- Cajun Craze panel (2-3/4″ x 4″) – beautifully subtle leaves create a warm pop of color and a perfect foundation for the brighter focal panel
- Basic Beige panel (2-3/4″ x 4″) – filled with Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry leaves and mushrooms for a vibrant burst of pattern and energy
The leaves on the top layer include designs with pops of champagne foil, and I leaned into that shine by adding Iridescent Foil Gems and tying a gorgeous bow around the panels with the Gold Striped 3/8″ Mesh Ribbon. This ribbon is THE BEST! It’s currently a Last Chance product, so be sure to grab it before it’s gone.
Final Thoughts
Thanksgiving week always reminds me to slow down, savor the season and create with gratitude in mind. This card was such a joy to put together, and I hope it inspires you to make something beautiful for someone you appreciate – this week and all year long.
