What are Stampin’ Blends?
Stampin’ Blends are alcohol-based markers designed for coloring and shading. The markers come with a light and a dark shade of each color, allowing you to blend colors and create dimension for amazing results. To use them, stamp images with a water-based ink (like Memento Tuxedo Black or any Classic Stampin’ Pads) before coloring to prevent smudging.
What colors do you need?
You may think I’m going to say you need all of the colors, and you’re not wrong. 🙂 The answer will always depend on what colors you typically use. Even if you don’t get all of the markers, it’s good to have a variety of colors from a variety of color families. Here’s a suggestion:
- Daffodil Delight
- Old Olive
- Poppy Parade
- Calypso Coral
- Fresh Freesia
- Pool Party
- Pecan Pie
That gives you a variety of colors and colors from every color collection. With those seven markers, you’ll have enough pens to color images for baby cards, birthday cards, sympathy cards or holiday cards. But … I think you should get them all.
