Brian’s Week in Review: December 7, 2025

Brian's Week in ReviewWelcome to my Week in Review! Each Sunday, I like to share a quick recap for those who don’t follow along every day—and a little extra behind-the-scenes for those who do. You don’t want to miss these extras! ♥

Thanksgiving Revisited

Who doesn’t love Thanksgiving leftovers? We enjoyed turkey, cornbread dressing and sweet potato souffle for days. When that ran out, we met with family for additional eating time. Here’s a snapshot of us at the buffet lunch at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant:

The 57th Fighter Group is a WWII-themed restaurant that looks over the PDK Airport, a small plane airport about 2 miles from our house. We sat right by the big windows that overlook the runways and watched several planes land and take off:

With Thanksgiving behind us, we’ve been gearing up for Christmas. I hosted two online classes this week with my Joyful Days class. I loved all three of the classes (the in-person class was in late November) and loved sharing my projects with my stamping friends.

Mom and I have been visiting quilt shops and sewing stores while she’s been here. Inspired by all of the samplers and patchwork projects in these stores, I made this Christmas card with the GORGEOUS Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper:
