On Tuesday, we said “hello” to Stampin’ Up!’s 2026 Spring Mini Catalog and the accompanying Online Exclusives. I walked you through all of the suite collections in the new offerings (to see those, CLICK HERE). Yesterday, we said “hello” to all of the Designer Series Papers as I a look at the brilliant patterns from the new release, including my favorite color combinations and my favorite page from each pack (to see those, CLICK HERE).
With all the “hellos” this week, it seems only fair that I should share one more.
Today, I’m sharing a “hello” card I made with the Fragrant Layers Bundle, part of the Online Exclusives that launched on Tuesday. Here’s the card I made to share with you:
How beautiful are these flowers? I’m going to walk you through how I constructed this card, but first…here’s a look at the Fragrant Layers Bundle:
The bundle didn’t quite work the way I anticipated, but I actually found that refreshing. It challenged me to slow down and play a bit to really understand how the pieces work together. I want to walk you through some of the key elements so you know exactly what you’re getting with this bundle.
Building My Card
Here’s a closer look at how I built my card:
The stamped images. The stamped images worked exactly as expected, following a two-step stamping process. I stamped the outline of the floral arrangement in Secret Sea on Basic White cardstock, then filled in the color using Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Garden Green. The results are beautiful. The dies don’t crop out the entire arrangement the way we’re accustomed to – and that’s OK.
The layering dies. This bundle includes some incredible layering dies that build beautiful flowers. They also work with the stamped images to crop specific elements. On this card, I focused on showcasing the floral frame and the banner, so let’s take a closer look at those.
The frame of flowers. The floral frame die is especially interesting. It crops into the paper rather than cutting the outside edge, so if you want a thin border around the frame, you’ll need to trim your cardstock slightly smaller before die cutting. Bonus – the floral frame fits perfectly over the stamped image on the Basic White layer underneath. Here’s a closer look:
The sentiment. How sweet is the “hello” sentiment on this card? I stamped it in Secret Sea on Basic White cardstock and cropped it with a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I layered that onto a Coastal Cabana banner from the Fragrant Layers Dies, adding a thin strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock in between for a pop of color. Here’s a closer look:
To finish the card, I added a trio of Daffodil Delight dots from the Opal Rounds Assortment. They bring such a soft, sweet touch and tie the bright and rich colors together beautifully.
Color Combination
Secret Sea really sets the tone for this card. I’m absolutely head-over-heels in love with this 2025-2027 In Color. If you love this combination of Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Secret Sea as much as I do, I hope you’ll save it for future reference:
Last Thoughts
The Fragrant Layers Bundle surprised me in the best possible way. It may take a little experimenting, but the unique dies and beautiful stamped images make it well worth the time spent playing. I love when a bundle nudges me out of my comfort zone – and this one definitely delivered.
I loved working with these dies so much that I’ve created a second card to show the softer side of this set and to showcase a different way to use it. I’ll share that project tomorrow – I hope you’ll come back!

Thank you so much, Barbara! ♥
Thank you for sharing your lovely card. One tiny question when you cut the flowered die on the top layer how did you make sure your stamped version lined up underneath
I proceeded to layer as follows:
coastal cabana-41/4 x 51/2 base
daffodil-4 x 51/4
white – 1/8 smaller
dark – 1/8 smaller
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your message, Susan! Here’s a helpful hint – I stamped the flowers on a piece of white, lined it up behind the blue, die-cut piece and then framed it with a piece of white. That way, I’m not relying on the image to be perfectly aligned. Does that make sense?
Yes, thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me.
Much appreciated!
Wow! I love your color combo. Secret Sea, Coastal Cabana, with a pop of the Daffodil Delight – just beautiful! Thank you for explaining how the dies work.
Thank you so much, Michelle! As you can imagine, it all started with Secret Sea. ♥
