Celebrate with Gears & Textures

I couldn’t help but add to the celebration by making this card to share with you today:

The focal panel on my card is a gorgeous page from the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper. While there’s already some texture on this page, I added additional weathering with the Gears & Textures stamp set. Here’s a closer look at the panel before I added the gears and sentiment:

The gears are cropped using a variety of dies from the Gears & Textures Bundle. I cut all of the gears from Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, and Gold Foil, then mixed and matched the pieces as I layered them on the card. I also included a textured strip from the dies that pops out over the sentiment. Here’s a closer look:

The sentiment is pulled from the Christmas-themed Keeping Traditions stamp set (you’ll see the image included in the product listing below). It’s a little tricky to see in the photos, but I also added an Early Espresso panel embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

To finish the card, I added three Streaked Dots for even more texture and shine – the perfect accent for these gorgeous, layered details.

Gears & Textures Online Class

The timing couldn’t be more perfect for the kickoff of my Gears & Textures Online Class. Don’t worry – Emma and I will continue offering our Super-Awesome Fun Time Card Kits. This new class gives me the chance to offer a smaller, focused class featuring a collection of products I know you’ll love.
