Capture the Moment – Layered Camera Card with the Capturing Smiles Bundle

Stampin’ Up! has released a few camera-themed stamp sets over the years, but none have offered this level of detail or the ability to build a fully layered camera like the Capturing Smiles Bundle. With a classic, professional-style camera (definitely not a phone!) and a collection of versatile sentiments, this bundle is a standout.

The focal point of this design is the layered camera, heat embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock for bold contrast. The bundle makes it easy to build dimension with five distinct elements:

• The large camera base
• The front panel (tag-shaped layer)
• The focus ring
• The lens cap
• The lens

Here’s a closer look at the camera I built with the coordinating stamps and dies:

While this isn’t technically a Polaroid camera, I couldn’t resist pulling in a backdrop inspired by those iconic Polaroid colors. It’s such a timeless combination! I even brought back the pink band – partly for nostalgia and partly to fill a little extra space on the card. Artistic license, right?

And because no project is complete without a little sparkle, I added seven Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the perfect finishing touch.
