Sneak Peek: Simply Leaves

Today I’m sharing a quick sneak peek at a new stamp and punch bundle that will be available in next week’s Online Exclusives launch. Starting July 1, you’ll be able to order the Simply Leaves Bundle – and I’m excited for you because this one is a winner!

Leaves are wonderfully versatile. While we often associate them with autumn, they work beautifully for spring and summer projects, too. The secret is in the colors you choose. For this card, I stamped and punched leaves in Shaded Spruce, Golden Glow, Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze and Pretty Peacock. Together, they create a rich, nature-inspired palette that feels right at home for Fall.

The foundation of my card features three strips of Wood Grain Wonders Designer Series Paper layered across the background – an Early Espresso strip measuring 3-3/4″ tall, a Pecan Pie strip measuring 2-3/4″ tall and a Crumb Cake strip measuring 2-1/4″ tall. The varying woodgrain patterns add texture and warmth while keeping the design clean and simple.

To finish the card, I tucked a small piece of netting from the Sunset Coast Dies behind the leaves and added three Pecan Pie Earthy Matte Dots for a touch of texture and dimension. Simple details like these help bring the entire design together without overwhelming the focal point.
