For the past several months, Stampin’ Up!’s new Hot Foil System has been one of the company’s best-kept secrets. While demonstrators were bubbling with excitement as we ordered and experimented with these new products, we weren’t allowed to share any of it with you.
Now…we can!
Stampin’ Hot Foil
Hot foiling has been popular in the crafting world for years, but Stampin’ Up!’s new system brings it into our creative ecosystem with products designed to coordinate beautifully with the stamps, dies and papers we already love. The result is gorgeous metallic accents that instantly elevate your handmade cards and paper projects.
How it Works
The metallic magic starts with the Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls, specially designed Hot Foil Dies and the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System, which works with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (sold separately).
The heated platform transfers the foil through specially designed hot foil dies, allowing you to add brilliant metallic details to cardstock and other paper crafting projects.
Important: Hot Foil Dies are made exclusively for foiling. Standard cutting dies cannot be used for hot foiling, and Hot Foil Dies should not be used for die cutting. Using them incorrectly could damage both the dies and the machine.
Here’s a look at the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System:
The complete system includes:
- Stampin’ Hot Foil Platform
- Stampin’ Hot Foil Shim & Spacer
- Stampin’ Hot Foil Magnetic Pick-Up Tool
- Silicone Platform Station
- Silicone Cooling Pad
- Power Cord
Here’s a helpful video from Stampin’ Up! that walks through the system and shares tips for getting beautiful foiled results:

There’s More!
As you see in the videos, the Stampin’ Hot Foil System is just the beginning of your foiling journey. To create beautiful foiled projects, you’ll also want to add:
- Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls
- Hot Foil Dies
- Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
Here are a few of the coordinating products I’m most excited about (at least for now!):
An Added Bonus
Everyone who purchases the Stampin’ Hot Foil System before January 4, 2027, will automatically receive access to the upcoming Metallic Magic Craft Class.
This exclusive virtual, technique-focused class is designed to help you build confidence with your new system while teaching creative techniques, helpful tips and inspiring project ideas. It’s a fantastic way to get even more from your new investment.
Don’t Miss It!
The Stampin’ Hot Foil System and coordinating products will be available beginning Friday, July 10, at midnight (local time in all Stampin’ Up! markets).
If you’re as excited about this new product line as I am, I’d encourage you to shop early. Stampin’ Up! expects demand to be very high, and if the initial inventory sells out, additional stock may not be available until later this year.
