For Baby with Stampin’ Up!’s Well Said Bundle

I love when products from different catalogs come together perfectly to make a sweet card. For the adorable baby card I’m sharing today, I combined the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog with new dies from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog. I was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. All of these things came together to make this card:

  • Well Said Bundle. I love a good sentiment set – there’s something special about having the right combination of words to say EXACTLY what you want to say. The Well Said Bundle features the Well Said Cling Stamp Set (with 51 stamps) and the Well Written Framelits Dies (with 24 dies) that can be arranged in endless combinations – “endless” might be an exaggeration, but who has the time to count all the combinations?! Here’s a look at this incredible bundle:Well Said Bundle, Stampin' Up! 150609Even with a 10% discount for both the Well Said stamp set and coordinating Well Written Framelits Dies, the bundle retails for $76.50 in the United States. That might feel steep (because bundles are usually that costly), BUT look at all the incredible stamps and dies in this bundle. You can use this set for almost every occasion you can think of. You need both elements of this bundle – I promise.Well Said Bundle, Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, baby cardThis sentiment came together easily with the “for” stamp and the adorable die-cut “baby” – a perfect fit for this card challenge. Isn’t that sweet?!
  • Twinkle Twinkle & Be Mine. I used THREE patterns from Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper on this card. The two starry panels provide a gorgeous backdrop for the the sweet heart and sentiment. The band at the base of the top panel also comes from the paper – a panel I’ve tried to use so many times, but this is the first time it’s made it’s way onto a card. • Sweet Colors for Baby. The colors on my card are pulled right from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper. Such a sweet combination of soft and rich colors. 1. I adore the Twinkle Twinkle DSP and the three panels you’ve chosen make such a sweet card. And how can any of us live without that Well Said bundle?! Great project for sure.❤️

  2. Great ideas!

  3. This DSP is perfect to make this sweet baby card. When I first saw the card, I thought of your post yesterday about stripes and angles. Having one design with the stripes made it very easy to add it. Great job! Have a wonderful day!

  4. Such a very sweet card with the Twinkle Twinkle DSP!
I love everything about the card, Brian?

  5. Darling how you switched the coordinating pattern to add the stripes (like blocks of color) behind the heart.

  6. Precious! What adhesive do you use to adhere the smaller die-cut words?

    • Thanks, Wendie! I cut the words before thinking to use the adhesive sheets. For this one, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to put a dab of adhesive along the back of the word.

  7. Great balance of soft and pretty for a darling little baby card.

  8. Soft and sweet – just like the new born it is intended for.

  9. I agree Brian, the hearts can be used for so many cards, especially Mother and Father’s Day! I’m a big fan of the diecut words in combination with the stamp words.

  10. This is sweet as can be! I love the mix of dsp patterns, and the stripes at the bottom of the focal panel work so well with the sketch. Fabulous card, Brian! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

    • Thank you so much, Amy! It’s always an honor to hear from you. This sketch was similar to another card I’d made earlier in the week. As soon as I sat down to create, though, I knew what I wanted to make. Glad you like it.

  11. Well this could not be cuter!! I love all the colors and your blending of different elements is perfect. What a treat! So glad to see you this week at FMS!

  12. Sweet card.. Great mating, too

  13. So sweet! I need to make one…a friend just had a baby girl last week…”Genevieve”. <3

  14. I love this card and want to use some of it but I am not good at figuring out the sizes to cut the center paper. Am I missing something or are ideas just for us to figure out?

    • Hi Sue! I’m so glad you like the card – most of my cards are designed for the specific sets or papers I’m using. This one is pretty universal – and I happen to still have it. Just measured it, and the central piece is 2-3/4″ x 4″. Hope that helps!

  15. Mary K Usiatynski

    so the card measurements are:
    Base 4.25 x 5.5
    Pink 4 x 5.25
    navy 3.5 x 4.75
    stars 2.75 x 4
